Angel of Death

The Angel of Death was one of the first Angels created by God in the Dawn of Time. He served as the Death for the living beings and was responsible for collecting human souls from the dead, to bring them to either Heaven or Hell. He was also granted with a unique sword that eradicated anyone who touched it. In some continuities, his name his Azrael. In the Preacher universe, the Angel of Death made the Saint of Killers his succesor as the Deathbringer, the patron saint of slaughter and assassination.

Angel of Death was adapted by Bob Rozakis, first appearing in Teen Titans #45 (1976).
