I am an avid cross stitcher. I have worked large and small projects and am pretty much addicted.

Stitching appeals to me because of its repetitive nature, it's use of all shades of colours and the need to rigidly follow patterns. Perfect for someone with mild forms of OCD.
You can cross stitch using a beautiful array of colours and create wonderful pictures without having to have any talent with a pencil or a paintbrush. It's great.

I studied biology and am still fascinated by biochemistry and nature, but mostly these days I just indulge myself by stroking cats. I have two and also foster for the Cats Protection League.

I'm sad most of the time. I'm not good at friends and don't do socialising. Low self esteem I freely admit to and it's not fun to live with. Fear of failure prevents practically every activity and closes many doors.

I eat soup every day. I love marmite. I hate silence. I like staring at the moon. Red sunsets freak me out.

I believe in judge Judy for president. I cried when Kirsty Maccoll was killed. I make a point of watching Exit to Eden once a month.

I'm half English, a quarter Irish and a quarter welsh.

I was alone with my grandmother when she died a few years ago. I was alone with my old cat when he died a year later. I hope I'm not a jinx.

I once had a dream that I was talking to Johnny Depp on the telephone, except it wasn't a telephone, it was a marmite sandwich. Then I looked down and saw that I was wearing bright red trousers. Then I knew that it was a dream. There's no way in hell that I'd ever wear bright red trousers.

I like to record my dreams, now. Before I forget them.
