Fandoms I Have Been Known To Read Compulsively: Harry Potter, due South, and Firefly/Serenity
Stuff Relatively Unrelated to Fandom: The Hope Project
Fanfic Plusses: Good writing, balanced power dynamics, humor, and graceful combinations of plot and smut. Lupin. Snape. Ray K. Mal.
Fanfic Minuses: Pain. All-pervading angst. (Angst in moderation is fine.) Non-con. Lucius.
Fanfic Neutral: Gen, het, bi, slash, and multiple-body problems.
Other Temptations: DiscWorld, Good Omens, and
milliways_bar (which I love to watch but haven't yet figured out how to consume in moderation--beware!)
Fannish History: Actively consuming HP fannish stuff since Summer of 2004, because I needed to find people to talk to about the PoA movie. Hung out at the Werewolf Registry for awhile--nice folks. Haven't been by there lately. Swallowed up by LJ. Found the above-listed other temptations here.
Fannish Creations: One HP Gen story at SugarQuill. Drabbles at100wizards, lupin100, snape100, hpchar100, and one at ds_flashfiction. Some longer stories in progress--let me know if you'd like cookies.
Real Life: Semi-techie, semi-old, semi-odd, and fairly successfully managing multiple health challenges. Other sorts of challenges are lining up to take their turns...
