Why don't I go to clubs anymore?
The Orlando rumor mill seems to have created some confusion about why I don't go out anymore. Let me clarify that it has nothing to do with Carrie not "allowing" me to go out. If people would stop and think about it, they'd realize I became a hermit before I even MET Carrie (I only went out maybe 2 or 3 times in the year before I met Carrie). The bottom line is that I am just not interested in going out. It even bugs Carrie sometimes how much of a hermit I am, so it is totally back-ass-wards for people to think it's BECAUSE of Carrie that I don't go out. That's just silly. Why would I even stay with someone who was some mean ogre who told me what I was and wasn't allowed to do? Carrie is the sweetest person ever, not some bossy mean controlling girl. The only things she doesn't "allow" me to do are chew on my fingers and insult myself.
So, let's go over what clubs have to offer and why they don't apply to me:
1. Music - I have all the music I could want here at home.
2. Dancing - I don't dance.
3. Drinking - I don't drink.
4. Socializing - The Orlando drama scene helps to take the enjoyment out of that and make it just annoying.
5. Flirting - I have no business doing that because I'm in a serious relationship with the love of my life, as I have been for almost FOUR YEARS.
Capiche?

I never realized this until now, but pandas are quite possibly one of the most adorable things in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE.

Holy crap Carrie and I actually went out to something scene-related last night. We went to see the Ludovico Technique at the Haven. It was a pretty decent show too. They really put on an entertaining stage show. I think this was the first time I've actually gone out to a club/show in almost 4 years. :P

Oh I forgot to mention earlier but I finally got around to watching Superman Returns... dammit I hate to admit it, but I actually liked it. A lot. It was actually REALLY good. Brian, you win. :P
I also just earlier today watched the Aquaman / Mercy Reef pilot, which was to be the first episode for a series by the makers of Smallville, but never got the green light by the powers that be. It was also REALLY good. They put it up for download on iTunes a few days ago and it became the number one tv show download. I'm hoping that might persuade the network people in charge to not give up on it. It's a really awesome show about the guy who would later become Aquaman being young and growing up in the same vein as how Smallville is about Superman. I really like the Aquaman character and think it sucks how people don't understand how awesome he is. People think he's just some dude that talks to fish and that is his only power, but let's see... he can also swim at like 50 miles per hour, can breathe under water (or hold his breath for like 2 hours - I forget which), he has super strength which is amplified under water, and oh yea... he's the fucking prince of the lost city of Atlantis.
Anyway in other news, my first week back at school went well... We're going to be spending this month working on a group project in the form of a mini-game that we have to put together from start to playable finish by the end of the month. My group and I have decided that our game is going to be a futuristic insane gladiator game taking place on a post-apocalyptic Alcatraz. I'm also still working with the game design team on their final project, "Dungeon of Glory". Here's a picture from that:

So I got BrettSaltzer.com. Yea I know; really original name huh? Well PoopInMyMouth.com was already taken. :P
Anyway from now on my email address will be brett@brettsaltzer.com if you want to update your address books. But not to worry - brett@zamien.com will still serve as my backup address and continue to forward all mail to me with an auto reply reminding of the new address. I'll probably keep it that way for like the next year before I finally get rid of zamien.com for good. I've had that domain and accomplished nothing with it for far too long.

Rather than seem non-genuine by copying and pasting "awe thanks!" a buncha times, I'm just going to say "thank you" in a new post here to everyone who said nice things in the comments to my last post (the picture of Carrie and I celebrating our anniversary). So thank you for the nice words everyone. We appreciate it. :)
And now... MORE PICTURES!
Here's another from that night:

Here's one from Valentine's Day that I forgot to post:

And here's one from when we were in New Orleans. Carrie looks good of course but I'm not at a good angle. :P

From SuperHeroHypse.com: "The original voice of Transformers' Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen, will also voice the character in Paramount's anticipated big screen adaptation. Cullen made the announcement over the phone during the studio's presentation at the San Diego Comic-Con today."
