Leap Day Log and random ramblings....

I signed back up for the gym yesterday. 53$ for one month. I just got back from a mini vacay with my good friend who is 5'1" and <110lbs she kept talking about how she needs to get in shape before she can wear a swinsuit this summer.that was a little depressing I weigh more than twice what she does.I dont think she realizes tho how that might make me feel Im not mad or anything its just hard sometimes to be the biggest friend I mean I'm realistic my bones are larger than hers I wear a size 10 shoe Im not a small person I will never weigh under 130  lbs ever even if I starved for years I just wouldnt.I remember weighing 100 lbs I was 11 years old in 5th grade. I was around 5'  then . 

Even tho I'll never be "small" I could be  healthier. I could have a body that is mostly free of fat I could eat better and train to do a 5k. Thats why I joined the gym because right now in NH you cant run outside unless you like frost bite. So Ill workout at the gym til its warm out then start back up with c25k.

Im trying to cut down on my snacking I snack so much that by dinner I only have 200 cals left and I end up bingeing.

 So...I binged the last 2 days BUT I did C25K on wednesday and Im due to do it today.(weather premitting I will if not def sunday.)
Last night I was at TJMaxx just browsing. I found the cutest dress in the universe I am not a dress person. I like them but I dont like how I look in them. They only have the dress in a size 13. I am a size 18 now. Im buying the dress today and hanging it on my wall for motivation.Like in that yogurt commerical the lady looks at her bikini everyday and then wears it. Yea that'll be me. Its 35$ I really cant afford it but I start a new job next week and I NEED to get my butt in gear.
And I even have an occasion to wear it at. My younger brother is graduating college in May. Thats 3 1/2 months...I figure the dress'll fit once I'm ~190 and I'm ~219 now. * gets calculator* So 29 lbs...31/2 months so like 7 lbs a month....doable. IF I actually do the following starting today:

Avoid Binges
.--->By staying on track. If I go over during the day it usually leads to me saying "fuck it" and bingeing all night.

Eat Healthier----> I have a shitty diet mst of what I eat is processed convenience foods. I need to pay more attetion to food groups and stop filling up on shit food.

Exercise---- Ive been on track with this this month I need to continue with C25K and start doing curches and shit at night as well.

Focus on Goals----> That dress habinging on my wall should help. I'm rewarding myself once I get 2 weeks binge-free(or to 200lbs) with 3 new ringtones.
I have this little competition going on with my friend from florida but she's flaking out already so I dont kno if thats relieable.

 Hello neglected journal friends.

Ive been trying to make changes this month. my eating is shit most days, but Ive recorded EVERYTHING for the past 9 weeks. to me the key is writing it in pencil so i can make changes.

Ive jogged 8 times this month id been going with a friend from highschool but our schedules dont match anymore so ill be going alone.
yesterday i did week 2, day 1 of c25k. it felt great. the first 90 seconds were the hardest but by the end i was doing better. im excited to go again tomorrow.

I made those diet soda cupcakes last nite. they are good but still 240 cals each with frosting. next time ill get lower cal mix.

Last week i was 219.0 and i forgot to wejgh in yesterday but i hope im below 217 next monday.

As always im trying to stay under 1600 cals per day. my calories thus far this week are:

my reward for getting to and below( hoping by mid april) is 3 new ringtones for my phone.

 OKay its been 3 months since Ive posted here. I've been doing really poorly diet wise. I binge eat most nights of the week resolve to change the next day and dont. on friday i ate 2 11oz bags of m&ms. i can not afford to go on like this money wise or health wise or self esteem wise.  

I'm ready to change. I've made it a little harder to cheat  myself this time. I have someone for real life accountibility. I want to get active on the LJ dieting communities so i can have ppl here expecting me to do right also.
My friend and I are going to be checking in with eachother on some goals we have. mine are:

-go to gym 5x a week ( i paid for it i should use it i have tons of time and it makes me feel good.)
-eat balanced meals 3 times a day with up to 3 snacks (2 of which will be produce).
-lose weight Im ~220 right now id like to be ~210 by christmas (my long term goal is <160)
-don't drink soda ( i gave it up for 7 months before. i dont need it)

I got these nutirition and exercise tracher pages for my planner. starting tomrrow ill be logging food and exercise there. ill also log here.
 
I made a list of all the things ill be able to do and wear and how ill feel once im at my goal also along the way. once i get in the low 180s i think my body looks pretty good. i want to be healthy i want to be able to run a mile. im thinking of signing up for a 5K in the summer. Ive never been a runner i have awful stamina. but where there's a will there's a way right?

ill be back later today to update a food log for today . in december of 05 i started this journal and i lost almost 60 lbs by the following may i felt great i looked great and now ive regained 40 of those 60 lbs. well their days are numbered because i WILL weigh <160 at this time next year, i kno i can do it and thats all that matters.

summer challenge goals

*Goals*
-at least one fruit AND one veg per day.
-80+oz of water per day.
-NO candy/alcohol in month of July.
-start week 2 c25k July 1st---3x per week thereafter
-stop snacking so much! 2 snacks a day, one AM one PM
-stick to calorie goals every day (i do a zig zag cycle, mostly it's around 1600--higher a few days a week--never over 2000 tho)
-lose 8 lbs.


im doing 100pounds2lose's summer challenge 7/1-8/12--6 weeks. i need to stick to my cals, eat more produce, start back up with c25k and not snack so much.

my personal weigh-in day is wednesday bc that is the highest cal day on my cycle. this challenge weighs in sundays. except for today for my start weight ill put the previous wednesdays weight in each week.
