Clark Gable videos
I hope this is allowed but I have some Clark Gable fan videos that I've made posted over at my journal. The films are Gone With The Wind, Red Dust and No Man of Her Own. Please let me know what you think and I hope you enjoy. Clark Gable
Just two questions
Number 1: I was wondering if anyone out there had a link to some good photo and icons of Mr Gable, and if anyone had a still from It Happened One Night in the Walls of Jerrico moment when he's lying in bed smoking the cigarette.
and Number 2 (which is a bit more of an observation, all be it not an orginal one): It was said about Mogambo that the only actor who could fill Clark Gable's shoes, was Clark Gable. And I think that's still very much the case. Which did get me thinking. If there was another version of Gone With The Wind who could play Rhett Butler? Because I've been racking my brains over this and I can't think of an actor today who could play that part because it just fits Clark Gable so well. Even in the book, and I know it wasn't written for Gable especially as Margret Mitchell started writing the book before Gable became famous, but it fits Clark Gable, the descrpition of Rhett, that animal magnatism and danger and that sense of humour with the twinkle in his eye is all Clark Gable.

Hi I'm new to the fandom of Clark Gable. I read Gone With The Wind a few weeks ago and had to see the film and was just swept off my feet by Clark Gable, he has such an on screen presence, but then again all of you here will already know that.
So far the other films I've seen are:
It Happened One Night (which I love)
Mutiny on the Bounty
But Have ordered the Clark Gable Signature Collection and No Man of Her Own.
If anyone has any suggestions about other important Clark Gable films that I should see I'd be very grateful, couldn't afford to buy them all.
***Oh and if anyone could suggest a good biography of Clark Gable as well

I just started a brand new website called Simply Classics, where you'll find over 1600 HQ images of your favorite classic Hollywood stars. If there is anyone you don't see up on the site, but you think deserves to be, please email me your suggestions.
I just started the site so I still have a lot more images to add to the site, but I will be updating constantly. I'm looking for affilates, so if you're interested, please let me know.
