Ive decided i want to get the weight loss surgery. I believe everyone is beautiful it doesnt matter what size we are. I just want to be healty, im tired of seing my girl who is almost 15 feel bad and get regected because she is 20lbs overweight. So i am going to do something about me and see if it will help her and the rest of my family. I love food but i know it doesn't love me anymore.. I feel like its a divorce im going through right now.. I guess i just need support in my dessision, and encouragement. God bless you all Paula
ok her are some things that make my blood boil and wonder what i can do to help my self... my mother-in-law hasn't even seen me in real life, she lives in arkansaw and my husband says she is meen and that she doesn't belive that there should be "overweight" people, we that have a bigness "problem" need to stop eating, in her eyes! and yes one of the first coments to my husband from her was- "why are you with that fat girl you could do so much better." I guess in the west they do not belive in heavyness.. and if you are heavy its cause you dont do much that you are lazy.. and i can honestly say i am not lazy.. I am the first to rise in the morning and the last to go to bed there is work that i ahve to push myself to do (just getting through the pain is hard work for me) the drs keep sayin they will never be able to "repair" my back if i don't start "bed rest"... but then again theres not a good chance of walking even if i have the surgery.. so i keep going.. I even started an exersize program at a jym and well after 2 months of pushing myself so hard (4x's a week for an hour at a time with weights) that when i finaly took the time to rest one day i was in bed for three days i cant even remember what all meds i was put on then, other than the morophine the dr put me on to numb myself to do the exersises i insisted on..(he would not sign the paper for me to exersize but he did give me pills to help dull the pain while i was exersizing) i realy do love to exersize and move and well just plain do things.. I am thinking about the gastro bypass.. but then i am also thinking of Hoodia (a new weight loos pill) Does anyone have any sugestions?? thank you Paula
Hello all my name is Paula and i just found this site, ive been an big person almost all my life. i literaly remember when i was in the fourth grade and i could see my ribs it was horrible for me.. i don't know why but the image of something that is saposed to be hidden inside of me was - well literaly able to be seen. I started gaining weight then. I am trying to love my self for me but lately i want to be smaller and healthier for me.. this is a personal choice but there is a big thing problem now.. i think it is more of a eating disorder. There are days i can go without eating or geting hungry or even thirsty and then there are days where i can't get enough to eat.. I live in a town called New Philadelphia, im 37, i have two children my son will graduate this year, my daughter will start high school next year.. she is 5'9' now and on the bigger side, i wouldnt say shes "big" but she thinks she is and she thinks she can starve herself to thinness.. so its time i change and help her to change too. I have gone to the dr about this and all she says is "because i don't eat for days and then i eat, thats making me put on more weight because my body is storing it up in case i don't eat again".. I realy hate eating, but then i cant stand to pass a drive through if i have the money and any more its realy cheap to feed a family of four for under 10 dollars and not have to use dishes or electricity to do it.. I do have major back problems, the dr does not know how i am still walking concidering i have not one but two herniated disks, arthritus, degenerative disk diseas, fybromiatia, a spere in my spine that is 1 1/2 inches long going into my syatic nerve. they wanted to do an opperation but would only garentee a %50 chance that i would walk afterwards so i wont do it..I Love and belive in God and Jesus. well anymore info i'll be happy to share with all thanks for this comunity Paula
