LJ immigrant. Trying to walk the fine line between "social" and "privacy". I like absurd humor, and I listen to music from literally the 7th century (Armenian liturgical music, try it) to the present. I am a musician, a DIYer, and I work to live, not live to work, so that's why I won't talk about work on here...any more (except when relevant to other life things). My interest in history makes me damned glad for modern medicine, civil rights, and technology. I've traveled and lived many different places and experienced many different cultures.

I believe relationships of any type - business, personal, online, etc. - should be transparent, mutual and opt-in. I really think we all have the right to be healthy and happy and that's all I want for everyone. I also believe that we are all interconnected; our choices affect others and we need to behave accordingly and responsibly. I know that these two beliefs sometimes conflict and that's part of the human struggle. I also believe science is the best method there is for knowing things. I don't believe in the supernatural, except that I am weakly theist. I will not, however, allow my weakly held theism to interfere with the previous statements, so I won't make fun of or reject people who believe in the supernatural, and I always leave room for doubt.
