What a ridiculously overdue post. I said back in July that I wanted to accomplish shorter gaps in posting things? THAT CLEARLY HAPPENED. And in that time, I started iconning three new television shows But hey, if you've been following me on Tumblr, you know that I'm still relatively active somewhere. With that said, if you are one of those people, many of the things in this post should look familiar to you (and excuse the Teen Wolf icons for being embarrassingly old). I went a small icon-making binge over the weekend and realized that I needed to clean everything out. I've had a lack of inspiration lately so, who knows, I might open up for some requests or a cap spam later :)

Yes, I am alive! My reasons for the lengthy gap in posting range anywhere from the pains of moving to getting a new laptop and re-learning how Photoshop works all over again on an entirely different monitor (which is why you'll see a difference with the Sherlock icons in particular, because the bulk of those were made as the second series was airing, just before my new computer). But alas, I have returned. 

Also, a fair amount of these have been cropped down from things I've made and posted on Tumblr, so if you follow me there as well, some of this might look familiar to you.

I'm planning to work on moodthemes for Pushing Daisies, Downton Abbey, and possibly the second series of Sherlock (to go with the moodtheme I made last year for the first series), but I'm always open to more suggestions! Making this one is fun, because I adore Amy and her incredibly expressive face. Bugger those who say she only has one facial expression, to be honest. Here's the thing. I've been sitting on a new icon post for ages now, but I've been hit with a lot of setbacks (a busy schedule, lack of inspiration, lack of motivation period, etc). I even have a new moodtheme that's very nearly completed. However, I feel like I'm in a new place now to go on an icon-making spree and I thought I'd throw this up, so...

SPAM ME WITH CAPS
Really. If it's a subject you've seen me posting about on my Tumblr, it's fair game. I would just really like to finish up this post and finally share with you all so I can start fresh :)

So, these are up later than I had been expecting, but I wasn't expecting all the server attacks that plagued Livejournal right before I went on vacation for a week. Better late than never, right? Since I haven't made an icon post since May, you'll find a variety of experimentation that went on over the course of these few months. You'll also notice that I only used a handful of images and screencaps that you all gave me, but I'm hoping to go back to that post when I'm bored or feeling a lack of inspiration. You guys gave me some great caps to work with, I have to say! Also, I took your suggestions about potential moodthemes to heart and I'm working on a few things that I'm hoping to get up soon if I find the time. For now, I hope you enjoy these even though they took me ages to finally post.

Greetings, dear watchers!

No, this isn't a new icon post, although I plan on posting on within a week, if not sooner. I mentioned a long time ago that I wanted to do a request post after hitting 1,500 watchers and while this isn't that either, hopefully it's the next best thing.

I've been feeling a little lackadaisical about Photoshop lately and I feel like I need a little kick. So, here's the stitch: spam me with caps (preferably of high quality) and images that you would like to see be made into icons. You can link me to as many as you like. I cannot guarantee that I'll use every single image, but the higher volume I get gives me a greater opportunity to pick and choose.

Before you link me to images, please make sure that I'm familiar with the source material/fandom. I tend to put a lot more effort into my icons if I'm working on something that I know. For instance, anything I post on my Tumblr is fair game. Also, while I don't mind if you choose other fandoms, I have a higher interest in images from the following at the moment: Doctor Who, Parks and Recreation, Downton Abbey, Harry Potter, Lost, Friday Night Lights, Pushing Daisies, The O.C., or Luther. Like I said, I don't object to other fandoms, but I've been more focused on these ones lately.

And while I'm at it, if there are any suggestions for future moodthemes you'd like to see, feel free to drop me a comment as well :)

EDIT [07/29/2011]: I was hoping to finish a lot sooner, but LJ's downtime really through a wrench in the works. As I will be away on vacation for the next ten days, a new post of icons will have to wait, but rest assured! I'm still working on some more of the requests you all left me and hopefully I can post them shortly after returning.
