I've already placed my order for two Butter Me Up lotions in Dairy Princess, one for home and one for work! I can finally stop hoarding the 1/8 inch I have left from last year.

Can anyone recommend a good hair iron? My senior year of college, my roommate had a CHI iron and I loved it. Also, when I had my hair done at a salon, they used a CHI iron. However, I'm looking for other recommendations, experiences, reviews etc. (positive or negative reviews welcomed)

The make-up line E.L.F. ( Eyes, Lips, and Face) has been bought out by Nordstrom and will be re-packaged with the Nordstrom name on it. They are getting rid of all the make-up in ELF packaging. They are selling everything for $1. YES ONE DOLLAR. You do have to pay shipping, However, even with that charge it's cheaper than buying make-up anywhere else and it is fun to try things when you don't have to worry about the cost! They have powder, mascara, brushes, nail polish, you name it .. Just thought I'd pass along the good deal.

Thanks to everyone for letting me know that the entire thing is a hoax. I rarely wear make up and when I do I have my tried and true favorites so I was not planning on making any purchases. I'll be passing on the information from snopes.com as well as Nordstrom.com to the Commanders wife so she can take it off of the Spouses site!!!! Once again thanks for the heads up!

I left the coupon thing alone because from what I understand that is still good. According to Snopes.com (last updated May 12, 2008) it will get you 50% off of orders totaling $15 or less.

I've decided I need plumeria-scented shampoo and conditioner, and went to MMU to place an order but they are closed. Of course, they re-open May 20th but I'm too impatient.

Should I go with Body Perfumery or Northern Essence?

I've had a chunk of BtBS sitting in my bathroom for more months than I can even begin to count, and finally, last night, I used it. I scrubbed my arms, my shoulder, my elbows, my legs... it was lovely!

Not so lovely, however, was the distinctly slick feeling on the bottom of my tub. The whole room needs to be scrubbed down anyway (it's the fiance's chore and he's been putting it off), but is this going to happen anytime I use the bar? Any way to cut down on the effects, or should I wait until the tub is scrungy and in need of a cleaning anyway before I use the bar?
