Battlestar Galactica Flashfiction

Dear fanfic authors,

first of all I’m sorry if OT posting isn’t allowed in this community, but there’s no other way for me to do this; just delete this if it isn’t appropriate.

I’m a fanfic reader and occasional fanfic writer myself, so what did I pick for my thesis in communication sciences? Fan Fiction, of course. I designed a survey to find out more about our writing habits and media use; it takes about 10 minutes to complete.

If you could go here and fill it out, I’d be forever grateful. Of course I’ll publish some of the results at my journal in about a month or two, so you’ll know what happened with your answers.
The survey is completely anonymous; I have no way of finding out who gave which answers.

Please, please help a fellow fan out. It’s only ten minutes for you; it’s a very important part of my work for me.

This has been cross-posted like crazy, and I'm sorry for spamming you guys, I'm just a little desperate, too.

Now that our dear show is back and kicking it on American tv, bsg_flashfic is back from its little unplanned hiatus.

The new challenge is the Power Challenge. Power outages, power struggles, The Powers That Be, flying under one's own power. Take it however you want and do with it what you will.

This challenge will run til late Thursday night - early Friday morning (EST).

Remember to mark spoilers for all season two episodes clearly (even if it's been months since it aired in the states, it might not have aired in other countries).

things kind froze up 'round here while I was away in New Orleans. this makes me sad. so, to (hopefully) jump start things again, a new challenge.

the point of the Frak Challenge is to write about frak or frakking (or however the hell it's supposed to spelled). whether that intales cussing, sex, mistakes or other fun things is totally up to you.

Oops. Looks like we kinda missed a week there, huh? Well, how about we get things going again.

Since this is a pretty busy week for...well, at least for me, I thought I'd pick a challenge that won't take too much time. The 33 challenge means that you have 33 minutes to write your fic. It can be about anything you want as long as it was written in 33 minutes or less.
