Welcome to the BSG Current 100 drabble community. The concept of the 100 word drabble is not new. This community owes its existence to those that started before and will mimic them with love and gratitude.
If you have any questions or comments, your moderator is treefalls.
The guidelines are simple:
Once a weekin a while, a new drabble challenge will be posted, and you'll have at least a week to post your response.
A drabble is a 100-word snippet or scene. The goal is 100 words exactly, but plus or minus a few is not the end of the world.
Please post drabbles behind a cut tag.
The customary format for information about a drabble seems to include:
Title: Author: Pairings: (if any) Ratings: (just like at the movies, er, in the U.S.) Spoiler Warnings: (through the eps referenced) Word Count: Warning: (if any) Please do include warnings for things that might disturb, such as sexual violence. I'm not going to make a list, but please use your judgement and err on the side of caution when providing warnings.
On that note: whatever you want to write is fine by me. OK, no, that's not exactly true. I suppose that if I find something so hateful that it offends me or everyone else to the core (as in evilbadhatefulharmfulwrong, not as in, "Huh, that's...different."), that could be an issue. I don't anticipate that happening, but I guess one never knows. Anyway, slash, het, gen and the acronyms too numerous to list are fine. Happy, silly, fluffy is fine, too. Have at it.
I hope you enjoy this community. Please feel free to e-mail treefalls with questions, comments, suggestions, or requests for clarification.
**This is not a site for children. If you are a child, please return only after you've achieved adulthood. I don't know what people are going to write, and I'll worry. So, off with you. Shoo.**
Oh! How could I forget? Talk to each other and give the feedback. Constructive, gushing, reserved yet appreciative - it's all good. Just, you know, civility is our friend.
