Long story short, this was my first attempt at Hooptober, and I’m pleased to report that I made it through. This was a load of fun, and I saw a load of stuff I’d never have seen otherwise.
I was intrigued, although not enchanted, by the world of silent film. I got a better handle on the work and style of David Cronenberg. I loved the live action work of the South Korean directors I watched (if not the animated work).
I ended up giving a range of scores from 0.5* (the lowest - Resident Evil: Degeneration) to 4.5* (the highest - The Fly) and successfully reviewed all films (these are linked below).
