Finally finished Sublimation by Isabel J. Kim. Kind of wish I didn't force myself to finish it.
Now reading Mother Tongue by Sara Novic, and am really liking it, even though she kind of jumps all around the place. I don't mind it because the history she goes into is genuinely interesting, but I can see how it might annoy others.
So July's book at the DW book club [https://bookclub-dw.dreamwidth.org/] is Midnight at Malabar House by Vaseem Khan. I am leading the discussion so please if you like historical mysteries (this one features the first Indian female police detective) then join us.
I am also listening to an audiobook version of Uketsu's Strange Buildings and would love any recs of a similar vein. It is translated from the Japanese, a dozen or so puzzling scenarios involving floor plans and odd/sinister circumstances that eventually link up very, very cleverly.
Just started Lost Souls, the 4th book in Dean Koontz's Frankenstein series. It's been so long since I read the other 3 that I only remember bits and pieces of them, but a fair bit is coming back as I read
