I bought this album because of the great cover, without having heard a second. What I noticed during my first listens was my unfamiliarity with blackened sludge metal. Next, life happened, AToA and I lost sight of each other. Now, 2 years later, we're here again. This record sounds greatly pissed off and ominous, harrowing and abrasive. Multi-faceted, first-class blackened sludge from the depths of hatred itself. Sounds at least as good as it looks like.
Fun fact: Gaerea's vocalist digs this.
Favorite track: Wormwood Star.
