In-Young (Dasom) is a former idol. She belonged to a popular 4 member girl group, but, now, she isn't very popular anymore. To regain her popularity, In-Young appears on the TV show "Experience of Daughter-in-Law From The Eldest Son's Family." While filming for the TV show, she meets her scripted mother-in-law Yang Choon-Ja.

Sooo nice for a refreshing binge-watch. Anyway after Once Again (2020) and this Eccentric Daughter-in-Law, I think I will look forward dramas like this again. Those stories about family and married couples that are trivial and warm hahaha
btw that Kim Bo Yeon ommoni always plays a mother-in-law that is obsessed with her son! Is that her acting specialty? Hhahaha in Once Again (2020) she also is very obsessed with her 2 sons that her daughter-in-law asks for divorce....
And To My Surprise, Dasom Is That Great As A Main Actresssss. Furthermore she plays with a very experienced actor Ryu Soo Young. Woww Dasom you go girl!!!!

Eastender Feb 06 2019 8:25 pm I have watched a lot of Kdramas and the CEO's mom is the worst, most immature mother-in-law I have seen. Other than the mother-in-law I am enjoying the show very much. It is lighthearted and funny. Also, Ryo Soo-Young sure is cute.

And it was. Honestly!(: I'd definitely recommend seeing this; it's fun, cute and sweet. There is drama too (ofc. it's a kdrama after all!), but it's good too. I'm totally in love with the main couple; they have some sweet moments, and I feel like they were really good together (:

A FAN Mar 10 2016 1:15 am This drama was refreshing. Different from another dramas. I got to be honest I decide to watch this drama just because of dasom. I new she was idol so I wanted to see if she she is a good actress. WELL damn girl. She is awesome actress. Her character was funny warm hearts. It was nice seeing everyone grow. The men in this drama were useless and so damn anooying exept math perverts (I love that name). But I gotta say the ending kinda was dissapointing. I was expecting a wow ending because because the beginning was pretty awesome and funny amd Different. But overall it was entertaining and funny. Ps. I notice thsi drama was full of tall men. The brother Dong Seok I really need to know him asap
senioryeargotmelike Dec 30 2015 11:53 am I decided to watch this drama after watching the latest eps of Oh My Venus (watch this drama its good XD) But the point is OMG so much dislike on the CEO's mom urghhh what took her so long to realize how selfish she was?! But then she raised a kid by herself so her reason was somewhat understable but really it was too much she was still Young-A's mother-in-law after all...LOL but it was sad that this drama only had 12 eps :( Wanted it to be 16-20 episodes like other dramas :( The ending wasn't that satisfying, Myoeng Seok should've knelt down and asked In-Young to marry him or something more cheesy and cringe-worthy. :/ XD Overall, it was a really cute drama about a perspective on family life because theres no place like home and there is no bigger and true support other than your family. ❤ I cried, laughed and smiled alot throughout this drama :)

Were suck also because you said that this drama is not good?? Ive been watching Kdrama for almost 8 years.. And this drama is one of a kind, its not a cliche kdrama that a rich guy and a poor girl will fall in love with each other. A good knovela will give you a MORAL LESSON and a sweet vibes, and this drama is an example of that.. Tsk i guess Anna is just looking for a sweet kdrama and thats all. Youre the one who suck.

Lenny Sep 29 2015 6:08 pm I thought the drama was really good. Not great, but close to it. The beginning half of the drama is entertaining and funny. Towards the end though it became so sloppy, your average K-Drama plot-line where the mother of the main guy highly disapproves of the girl. There's a lot of annoying characters in this drama that REALLY get on your nerves. Overall I feel like if this wasn't a mini-series with just 12 episodes and maybe 14 or 16 everything wouldn't feel rushed. This drama is about family and no matter how much you don't get along, the many problems you have - that they are always going to be there and love you 100% at the end of the day. I can't say this is one of my favorite dramas or put on most liked list of 2015 but it IS a perfect follow up to 'Oh My Ghost' (My favorite drama of the year, still having withdrawals) if you want some more laughs.
Go Seuna Sep 28 2015 8:34 am Whoa , from the begginning of the story I loved the ' JY Parts ' or Junsu and Yeonga part in the drama . But everyone seems to liked the annoying couple that is Inyeong and Myeongseok . Until now , I still loved their ( Junsu / Yeonga ) parts . Well , the parts were short but I liked it cause it looked liked a real life . If Junsu and Yeonga were happy family , I thought might be bored soon but it doesnt mean I want to watch their broken family either . As I know , their part were like a real couple but was separated by a mother .
About Myeongseok and Inyeong... I dont think so but I need to say then . Their parts were boring and so so so annoying ever ! I dont want to blame the director either them too . Jinjja ? Why does people loved it ? The more I hated was if they were making a sad face and I hated much if Myeongseok opened his glasses and there was his face . So please dont tease me if I blame you.
Now I hope the story will become more beautiful soon and will have their good family not happy ! Gomawo ~

The main mother-in-law is so horrible that it surprises me how the daughter-in-law, who she treats horribly, has not poisoned the witch. It gets nothing short of spiteful when she decides that the daughter-in-law should not hold a job. Granted, I am sure many women are fine being housewives but if you studied hard to get a qualification to work outside the house then pressuring you to do housework (and extreme loads of it, too!) so that you won't be able to carry out a career is just dreadful.
As for Kang and his mother, the whole thing is plain disgusting and not even remotely amusing. Someone call Freud.

It's kind of irritating sometimes when the wicked mother-in-law (Jang Mi-Hee) gets into the story and the husband Kang Joon-Soo takes for granted his wife. Although the writer might think it's necessary to spice the story and high light the martyrdom of Cha Young-A. But what really rock is Ryu Soo-Young - he is so HOT !!!

i dont know why the rating is not too good but for me this drama is so funny,refreshing and yet its also have good storyline which make me curious what will happen next. i cant stop watching right since the 1st episode. of course I love the main couple, they are so cute.... and also the mother Jang mi hee, she will annoyed you but in funny way :)) i think all the cast have done a great job !!

But the domestic audience are missing a really entertaining show! This show goes into the list of underrated dramas in 2015 (and there were quite a few).

The mother-in-laws are downright evil to their sweet daughter-in-laws for what seems like no reason. And, these girls are married to spineless men. That one guy is always criticizing his wife and he's always dressed in pajamas!!!! Does he even work? I'll continue to watch it cause I really hope karma gets those mother-in-laws.

She may have a lot more to learn but at least she's not like some idol actors who obviously lacking in many ways in term of acting.. Idk about the male lead but i'll just watch it just for my dasom hihi
