Park Man the quality from season 1 to 2 dropped fell off a cliff. What the f happen? ? I'm afraid to watch season 3 Dongjae show. I'm guessing it's not a season 3 but a spinoff from original. I fast forwarded 50% of season 2 while season 1 watched fully.

3/10

Donna Omg!! How come did i find this drama just now??! I finished all 2 seasons in 3 days? the best law drama series I ever watched! The twist is twisting, unpredictable at least for me, lol. Season 3 please!! All the characters in this drama are amazing!?

Ice "This series definitely deserves a third season

Fuu This season is quite good though still losing when compared to the first season. There are lots of things that need more explanation so after it's ended it still left me confused. The one tht made me so confused was SDJ's wife when she was questioned by the prosecutor or police(?) all her acts lead us to think that she didn't care about his husband, all she cares is only her children. Ntm the suspicious explanation from the police officer about her nail art(?). Then suddenly out of nowhere she cried for her husband and showed her support when she drove SDJ at the last ep. Even until the end i still had my suspicions to her and the show doesn't give me enough closure lol Nevertheless i enjoyed to see all the casts from first season became more mature (not SDJ lol) tho i kinda annoyed at how yeon jin's changed but at the end i got to understand her more especially how her workplace changed her, i can felt her feelings toward her boss that i too was cried when saw her crying. Choi bit's character is really good too, i realized that near the last ep bcs i dont really vibe with her at first, then prosecutor Woo annoyed me till the end gosh i hate him. This season is kinda boring tbh, what made me tune in more is when SDJ got kidnapped, that's when i'm so excited for more episodes. I'm also jumped from my seat when i saw Prosecutor Yoon and the cameos from the first season's main cast on the last episode! Lee Yeon Jae is a bit confusing though, like i thought she would be a good person and will continue what her husband's final wish bcs she loves him so much but turn out she's the same as her father. Her character and acting really plain and boring for me. My other disappointment is how little hwang si mok and han yeon jin's scene where they acts like the first season. It's only two or three cmiiw, kinda wish it would be more :") My score to this season 7.5/10

Andri Hanindyo Season 3 please!!. Lee Yeon-Jae is my fave ..tough independent woman, smart, beauty, ambitious..

Nik After watching S1, I started S2. I wanted to know how everything continues. I think there are some things missing (especially concerning Hanjo) but as S1, S2 makes you keep on watching the next eps. I also enjoyed S2, even if it is as straining to watch as S1 because a lot is going on. I just don't like that there is no S3.

Here, the cast is also great! Overall, I can live with the ending of S2. Watching K-dramas like this always leaves me with an aftertaste - too many stupid or loud people can be seen in various positions, I guess this is the Korean hierarchy thing after all, but I always feel the urge to kick some b*tts :D

elliemae207 Season 3 please!!! I think this is underrated drama. The writing and directing are both good and the cast of characters is all great! Maybe the pandemic hindered the possibility of season 3, but now that things are once again normal, I really hope that the producers, writers, directors and the entire cast will come back for a 3rd season! Hwang Si-Mokssi and Han Yeo-Jinssi... fighting!!

Natalie The first season is so good, a murder leads to a big conspiracy. There is politics but the main story is about the murder and attempted murder. #SPOILER ALERT# The second season is very disappointing, 90% about politics. And the most disappointing is 2 big organizations (police and prosecutor) who are supposed to defend the people together are fighting each other. Both organizations are looking for each other's "dirty laundry". And I don't get that the chairwoman is fighting a name, don't they have the budget to hire an actor to play the chairwoman's big brother? I hope there will be season 3 that the story is about a crime again, not all about politics.

Marie Done watching its 2 seasons. This kdrama was so underrated. I'm looking forward for season 3, I'm excited about the character of Lee Sung-Jae (brother of Lee Yeon-Jae, her rivalry with Hanjo group their company). And of course, Hwang Si Mok, he's now started showing different emotions.

Young I finished watching Season 1 this morning and I am going to watch Season 2 tonight. I don't know why I am so drowning to this drama especially Hwang Si-mok (Cho Seung-woo) ?

Jueves143 Finished watching the first season yesterday and started on the second today. Set two years later and Han Yeo Jin now has long hair! And Hwang Si Mook is about being recalled from his post in the countryside. Same screenwriter but different PD. I hope this season is as good as the first!

Wood Season 3 please!!!! One of the most outstanding dramas out there.

wonranghae They going to make Seo Dong Jae a special spinoff and the shooting will start in May this year

Shun's_hardcorefan Please Make The Season 3 Of The Series :)))

I'll wait as long as there will be another season of this series!!! Tbh I did watched this when it came out long ago but I watched it again recently bcs of bae doona's the silent sea (I want to see her acting again :) After this I will proceed to watch Kingdom series again :))) I can't get enough of bae doona's acting)

these stranger episodes is so gooddd *clapping intensively* well, my recommend is that you've got to watch this drama twice :') tbh when I first watch this, I felt somehow unsatisfied with the stories. Well probably bcs I forgot a lot of things that happened in the episodes. Bcs I think so hard what will happen in the end that keep making me think at the end of episode, why? Why? Wwhyyyy??? so, that's why I don't really realized shi-mok expression or the subtles hint being thrown.also I think u just have to be patient with episodes 7 to 9...

Anyway, amazing stories!!!! I love it!!!! Especially hwang shi-mok's relationship with others. Him being a senior to other prosecutors and also being a junior to his seniors :))) well, it's probably my guess but I think han yeojin and shi-mok probably will have somethings if there will be season 3. It might be in the beginning or at the end of the season 3. Well, it just my guess +_+ but then again, seeing shi-mok's straight face is really funny xDD especially when he teases his seniors lol

Oh, I really hope that for season 3, he will arrest a psycho serial killers or something. I meant, I want to know how will he take it if everyone will turn their back from him. Will he breaks down and stop being a prosecutors? I mean there must be a limit to what he will do right? I hope there will some kind of villian that equal to him. Idk in term of what but I'd like to see him where he doesn't have a lot of choice. Well, it's just my opinions anyway ^_^ Once again, Amazing Jobs Director, Writers & Actors / Actress Of Stranger Season 2 <33 I also hope that the two mcs, seo dongjae, lee yeonjae, Kang wonchul and Kim sahyun will comeback to the series ^~^

-SPOILER ALERT- I said episode 7 to 9 cause there is too little hint being thrown in the episode. And then again, I think it's probably bcs in the end maybe the writers want to show that polices and prosecutors is just like us, humans. Making wrong decisions and wrong assumptions. After episode 9, I can guarantee that the stories become better and better!!! That's why I recommend watch this drama twice :) and I remember I was so confused with Choi Bit's character. U need to see it till the end then u know :')

cheesewine finally finished season 1 and now on episode 4, why do i feel like seo dongjae changed the way he speaks and it sounds so odd now...

rusty greaves brilliant, riveting to the end....great script...superb acting by all...well done all.

Queen_K I loved every bit of the drama and the fact that there's going to be a season 3. I will really love a Bae doona and Cho seung woo romance drama. I love the chemistry they have. In Stranger series, si mok is expressive with Yeo Jin , I will like a little touch of romance between them too in Stranger 3 cause they hit it off and even being asked that the way she is around Si mok that she likes him.

? Please give us Bea Donna and Cho seung Woo romance drama?

Geo 3 season;;❤️

Ss I really llike this. All the cast did very well.I started to watch stranger because of Lee joon hyuk ?? I'm big fan of him. This season seo donjae character lovely, smart. His talkative style was very attractive.Plz make next season. Oppa ! Fighting !!!!? I wish him to achieve more projects. Plz do romantic comedy too

Crystal I just finished watching the series and it's mind blowing, I need more. I miss them already

Suj lui Im currently on ep 4 of stranger 2 and it pisses me off all the bullying simok has to endure among his new collegues.

Bananamin i enjoyed watching this drama even though it was sometimes draging and the cases were also complex with a lot of law jargon and name that pop up throught the case which you do not remeber if you was not focused. However, i still do not understand why they did not explore the story about Si-mok's brains surgery and childhood ? and why was thestoryline of the brain surgery necessary for this drama ? was it to justify his lack of external expression ? or did i miss something and also the relationship withhan yeo jin was not satisfying, i loved their interaction but it was not enough. i wish there were some more scene with them together, i do not talk about romance here but friendly interaction outside of resolving cases. but overall it was a good show for those who love crime shows. the actors are all brillant

wanderwanni will there be stranger season 3? please make it happen

Anna i love this drama so much it’s some big brain energy and doona and csu’s chemistry amazes me..... they’re amazing together i want to see more of it give us a season 3 Where Is It !!!!!

Jaine I meant to comment here instead of on Stranger 1. I tried to say that the story does weave through to 2 from 1. But like Grace and others who commented here, not as well liked. I think 2 is more complicated with dialogue that I can’t fully grasp. I assume it is a social commentary on the divide of prosecution and policing. Frankly I wish someone would make a chart of all kinds of countries and how they arrest and prosecute. Turkey seems very different in that they are brought in which isn’t an arrest and then an arrest is decided. Could Korea do that? Anyway I love the writer and the complex story. But I am tired of the female lead in Hanjo. Her whining makes me not respect her. She should step down. No wonder her dad locked her out.

Lyr One of a kind drama. Amazing plot and acting. In this season the suspense builds up and the story is as exciting and thrilling as compared to season 1. Marvellous acting by the main characters played by Cho Seung Woo and Bae Doona. Can’t help but to ship both of them because of their excellent chemistry and teamwork. I like how the writers focused about the Police-Prosecution conflict which is unique and something we don’t usually see in dramas. The supporting cast were also amazing in their roles and their acting was superb. 10/10 a masterpiece drama and well deserved ratings. Congratulations to all staff and actors. Looking forward to a season 3.

Rodolfo Carrillo Why isn't season two translated in spanish? I really like the drama but need it translated in Spanish like the first season. Please

Gitskai I enjoy both season 1 & 2. Season 1 has a complicated events related one to another. While season 2 amazingly scattered random events that is more likely to happen in real life

Suzy Give us the season 3!!!!!

Wneri Definitely there's going to be a season 3, as SDJ kept a cliffhanger whilst being interrogated about Hanjo's involvement in the vacation house meeting...still, one of the best crime dramas i've watched, although season 1 is still at par with regards to the storyline..a mind-blowing series indeed!

Jia Lee joon hyuk

Why he cant be the main role

mg such a great drama.Realistic from many perspectives.I dont want to give spoilers so dont read ahead,,,

but one person's relative(seo dong jae's wife) start to cry you can really feel like you are with her/like you know someone like her in the past, you witnessed something similar like this someone's wife grief over her husband(?)When mrs han bullied by her co workers and she fight against them you feel like she is right next to you so realistic again, when she feels alone and her old co workers catches her mood by her voice coming from the phone, you can feel how close they are how they care about each other. When you cant deny the romantic tension between mr hwang and mrs han you feel like you are the third wheel there loool.I can go on and on sooo, all characters well written, all the soundtracks that have been made for this drama, all actors/actresses make this series super-realistic, now I cant mention all of them bcuz I dont want this comment turn into to some kind of essay '-' Whole crew is hardworking team, thats why I love this k dramas.

spoi spoi spoi

Daniela Season 2 is really good but i don't think it can top season 1. The first few episodes were really confusing but the ending made up for it. I didn't think that this will have a season 2 since it's been 3 years but glad they finally released it. I'm still hoping that there'll be a season 3 and I'll definitely watch it. The casts are top-notch and it's great seeing Seung Woo (one of my favs) getting cast in recent dramas. Hope to see them all in season 3.

Grace So i anticipated in this drama. I even rewatched the season one to understand more the characters on season 2. In disappointment it was not what i expected here that will happen. The season one is really a mind blowing one and not the season two. I dont like the new characters, their roles and the storyline is amazinf but the characters is not. They make me feel irritated all the time.

was it obvi or sumn’ I thought I’d at least see one comment here making a prediction on whether SDJ decided to reveal Hanjo’s involvement in the end or not...... but nothing huh. I have no idea.

I’m really curious though— what are people’s opinions? Is it likely his character resisted siding with LYJ or not?

iceskate I think this is a great drama. The story is very complicated and so interesting... All actors and actresses are so wonderful. I hope The Season 3 will be made soon. I prefer this drama to "Crush Landing on You".

R Without a doubt, this is an amazing series. However, I find that overall S2 isn't as mindblowing as S1. (Spoiler?) The root cause in S2 seems a lil underwhelming to me. Perhaps it's to lay the groundwork for S3 idk. Also, SDJ wife's odd behaviour when her husband was kidnapped was not explained or did i miss smth?

Lee It was hard to keep up with the characters and storyline. But strange enough, I was hooked up by the vibe of this series and ended up watching all the episodes. Thumbs up to the production team and the actors as well.

MPH Wish Season 3 somehow can make the devil more evil than before, i mean somehow makes it more thrilling and interesting like IRIS from 2009 Drama

Kim Na Na Hmm... it was good after SDJ got kidnapped. The first few episodes was boring and I didn't really know whatwas going on and forgot what happened in S1. Is it confirmed that there will be S3?

chesstitans The season 2 is unique in term of mystery/crime.

Can't wait for season 3. I hope the same casts will be on season 3 before they get old.

Suji Like this drama so much. I can not move on, really! I rewatch again and again. Haha. Good story with Great actors, so Wow! Cant tell anything again. Need season 3, please!

Thanks so much for all actors and cru. Bravo!

Nicoleta M Amazing actors, great plot. Just finished Stranger Season 1.

Val Give Me Season 3 Please!!! My love for the two lead characters just grew even more this season. To think the first time I watched S1 was kinda by accident, I clicked on it because I was bored and didn’t even know the plot. I ended up Loving It and I lost my sh*t when S2 was announced and honestly it didn’t disappoint!

AKHMADIQBAL thank you so much for making season 2 , i really the story , i hope you guys make it season 3 and will be final with more good story and twist . thank you .

SJ Thank you so much for bringing such a wonderful drama to life. Just like Stranger S1, I was captivated from the start to the end. Prosecutor Seo is such a strong-willed and charming character! I was constantly worried and rooting for him. And of course, I love the chemistry between Prosecutor Hwang and Detective Han. They are perfect as the leads of this drama! Also, I feel that every actor of this drama carries out their character so wonderfully well. Thank you Writer, Director, Production crew and all the actors of Stranger! Please let there be Season 3, with all the original cast and crew intact. There is so much potential that can be carried on to Season 3.

Nuha the second season is still as good as the first season. Although the things that make it interesting are different from the first season. This season is still able to make the audience think and can't wait to unravel the puzzle. And the way this drama uncovers the answers of the puzzle one by one make the audience relieved and carried away.

and for the production team, can i ask more action in season 3?

Nan @Sakae

Your welcome, my friend. SDJ doesnt disappear the night he went for his superior, it was a different day, when he worked with the case of the bully boy. He realized what night hace happened inthe case of the beach, and went to talk with the supposed Survivor. Earlier that day he has coffee with his maknae, the young girl, at a café. That's where his picture was got, from the café security camera.

Billionaires Mike Lee Soo Yeon writer really did a great job and also the legendary Bae Dona always amazed with her character improvement with Choi Seung Ho as her partner really doing well too. This drama definitely need season 3

Sakae @Nan

Thanks for the point, however I am still confused. There weren't any cameras at the location where his car was found. I will have to rewatch the drama. Maybe my timeline if incorrect.

In episode 6 (about 10 min in) when he was called to meet Tae-ha at karaoke and drive him, he was in the office and clearly did not wear a yellow tie. Safety camera footage monitoring him leaving building must had shown it. Did he changed ties in the elevator on his way to the car? I seriously doubt that. From there he was heading to meet his to be abductor. Was he somewhere else before that and had a spare tie in his car? Some people do carry clean shirt etc. in the truck. But, how would Tae-ha knew about it?

His wife didn't meet husband every day, as he was sleeping closer to his office. She could recognize tie, but would not know if he wore it that day.

Nan @Sakae SDJ's last imagen was shared in the media, it was the security camera from a café. He has just drunk coffee with his maknae and was paying the bill at the counter.

Sakae Fascinating drama. I am yet to understand how the false witness knew what kind of tie Dong-jae was wearing. He was the one who sent an image of bloody tie on instructions from Tae-Ha. The true abductor however was presumably last human contact with Dong-jae, and he was not releasing any pictures. I don't know what I've missed, but two matching ties I think could use explanation despite that is just a drama. It was after all a crucial piece of evidence which ultimately lead to rearresting false witness and release of "hurling stones" with downfall of Woo Tae-Ha and Choi Bit. I will need to probably rewatch the series and look for clues.

Joy Swagerman Would love to see Season 3 . Has been an excellent season 1+2

Michel It seems they are planning to continue this show for the 3rd season due to the good rating. the waiting game begins!

jestine29 the last 2 episodes really made me tear up... esp. Eun-soo, Chang-jun, and Se-won's appearance is very emotional for me. The last 3 episodes were the peak of this drama. it was rather dragging at first but everything falls into places its so good.

MeiSu The season 2 is not finished yet right? How about the segok case? Its still a mystery right?

American_Choupsy I really hope we don't have to wait for 2 more years for the next season.

American_Choupsy I love this drama!!! The best investigation drama I have ever seen. I really hope there is a season 3.... I want more of Hwang Si-Mok and Han Yeo-Jin.

Matsy This got to be my first time writing a comment so imma comment here in one of genius drama I have ever watched. Never knew that watching this drama feels like upgrading my brain tho I never seems to get the exact answer lmao. Hands down one of the best drama and it'll be perfect if they could assure us with season 3. I mean after what happened in the last episode aren't you guys craving for more?!! Also my days without Hwang Shi Mok is so dull so please bring him again for season 3.

Hanis Personally, i enjoyed first season more. However, second season still have it's thriller points. Is there third season to be schedule?

Samara I really think it'd be perfect if in season 3 Si-mok and Dong-jae finally worked together in a complex and maybe even dangerous case. Dong-jae now seems to have grown a little bit more as a person (but of course he's still HIM lol) and seeing him work with Si-mok and maybe even learn from him/with him would be so great.

Az I do think there will be a season 3... right? They didn’t reveal what seo dong jae told the police, plus where is lee sungjae character .. i really hope there is season 3 ?

Kairic in the end Hwang Si Mok never had a proper meal. hahaha tries to take a bite, "the phone rings" leave the meal since Season 1.

Panda Thank you for making such a good drama. Stranger is one of my top list crime dramas, which i never skipped a second while watching it. I love chemistry between all the actors, mainly Han Yeo Jin and Hwang Shi Mok. I also admire the details in every scene, not essentials, but it makes the scene more rational. Now that it ended, i have no series to wait for every weekend. So i'm rewatching S1 now, because i really miss Hwang Geomsa and Han Yeo Jin. And I'll be so happy if they make season 3

Vi Stranger 2 is good as expected. The twist and turn of the story were woven well. The voice over at the ending carries much hope and some beautifully crafted poignant thoughts. Can't wait for the next season.

Mikha Stacia Season 3 please..don't make us wait too long...already miss si-mok and yeo-jin. Weekend without stranger will be like..??? I am gonna re-watched stranger season 1 and 2 again.??

Dyosayn Who is this Lee Sung Jae???

K We need another season to destroy hanjo group. Also, who tf lee sungjae is pls reveal him (like, i know he is lyj's brother but why they never include him at least 1 scene smh)

Odp I already miss theeem... stranger 1 and 2 are the most rational, detailed, and amazing criminal legal investigation drama Ive ever watched. The actors make me fall in looooveee with their characters. Hwang si mok, han yeo jin, yongsan police officers, seo dong jae,, and prosecutors team aaaarrh S3 pleaseeeee

lemonade to be honest, i love stranger series. But if i have to choose, i prefer to re-watch season 1 than season 2. Too much forced plot, an open ending, although as is typical of Stranger series, we can't guess who the villain is. But i love how hwang si mok and inspector han chemistry, as usually. Looking forward for season 3. Good job!

LizaKhe session 3 please....

P We having season 3....we nees to destroy hanjo group... That's waa not fare.... It's so opened ended...we are waiting for season 3

Offended Please season 3 please.. i really love prosecutor drama

Nads One of my favorite kdramas so far! The opened end made me hopes about the possibility of a 3rd season! Finger crossed.

Jetstar I love Stranger series. I am looking forward to Season 3 since Season’s 2 ending is somewhat open ended. Please make it come true :))) Thank you to all cast and behind the scenes team for making it a success.

Lorna Well, not too crazy about that ending but I guess we have to wait for Season 3. Wouldn’t it be awesome if they bring in Lee Dong Wo and Jin-ah for Season 3??

Laura Loved both seasons. Hope there is a Season 3

Lalla I wonder if I am the only one who has noticed how much Hwang Shi Mok has changed from season 1. And I don't mean that he has evolved as a character. He was very cold and not empathic but quite cocky in his attitude. He had no trouble speaking up and doing what he wanted. He had often that smirk on his face. He had no problem being around others... he was just irritating because he simply didn't care. In season 2 he looks like he is socially inept. Like he is asperger at times. He has problems reading people reactions and looks like he feels a bit akward with his superiors. Totally different from season 1. I have just watched the first ep of season 1 and the difference is quite huge. What do you think?

Margie Really outstanding writing, wonderful casting. I so much hope to see more development of the characters and interactions. Season 3, please!

Zu Garcia Season 3 should be mandatory!!!

Ina Impeccable writing. The fact that sometimes I randomly stop to think about this show, says it made an impact on me.

I too hope for Season 3, because I would love to see more character development.

P.s - The song "Lost" from the OST is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Truly makes me feel a lot of things. Excellent choice.

Ferra Season 3 Pleaseeeeeeeee....... For all dramas in this 2020, this is the best drama i'd ever seen. Love it very much. Love you Cho Seung Woo Love you Bae Doo Na

Godwin Emmanuel This season starts with a foggy scene, Shi Mok is driving, it's all misty, nothing can be seen. That's how I felt this whole season was, so mysterious, so many things hidden. Eventually, everything slowly comes to light. The story might be so slow but it's so hard. There are so many scenes I was filled with chill, every single scene is detailed. This season is a war fought by the Police and the Prosecutors. It's Police vs Prosecutors, both fighting for investigative authority. Han Yeojin (Bae Doo-na) and Hwang Shi Mok (Jo Seung Woo), both are in a powerful position compared to last time. Though one is in the police force and the other is Prosector force, both have this beautiful chemistry and a thirst for justice. I am telling you all, Han Yeojin and Hwang Shi Mok are the greatest characters to be ever made. The acting and the story line is so brilliant. Let me stress that, the character development is mind-blowing, evening single scene to the episode, there is this transition of developments between all characters.

The side characters are not a joke, they are the catalyst to this season, the story circles around the main characters. Woo Tae Ha (Choi Moo Sung) is the boss of Shi Mok and Choi Bit (Jeon Hye Jin) is the boss of Han Yeo Jin, I love the acting of both. So brilliant. The cinematography is beautiful, the soundtrack is powerful, it's a swing of mystery and emotions. The set design, production, editing, color tone, story, and writing, well done. So perfect! Brilliant.

I felt this season was slow and could have explored even more into the wilderness. Shi Mok's sickness and Han Jin's quirky sides but instead they gave us a slow burn and more to come vibes. I loved it. The final episode got me teared up so badly, it was a reflection of season one. This show is beyond good! A must watch!

The ending was bittersweet. Looking forward to season 3!

Rose Really need S3 to conclude all the things!!!

Even though S2 a lil bit slow in the beginning, later you will hang on it as the plot getting interesting. Please keep watching it even it kinda boring at first!! The part when Si Mok dream all his ex colleagues in S1make me cryy. So nostalgic T.T

Etum Love this drama, S1 and S2, even though the woo tae ha part become anti climax, still the final episode really emotional, especially Han Yeo Jin part! I love prosecutor Kang came to hanjo to protect si mok and dong jae! So romantic hhaha! Definitely will be seoson 3, seo dong jae is back with wink hahaa! Hope all the main cast be healthy so they can come back in season 3!

None Loved season2!! It was complicated but that was the beauty of it and I am glad it ended perfectly. Although there were some unanswered questions. I really do hope season3 will happen. Looking forward to it.

LoneGunMan I am hoping a season 3 to wrap things up. Season 2 started really slow but in the end built up speed and closed perfectly. I hope there is a season 3 to finally shut down the evil corporation! But if there is no season 3 I am happy they had a season 2. Thanks tvn for another quality tv series!

Jasmine waiting for season 3, superb!

Venti We all need season 3 of this series

hunkyboi the series itself remain to be good but my thought is that S2 wasn’t really at par with S1. but i still look forward for S3. hope would surpass the expectation of the last 2 seasons.

Yufure We need season 3 !!!!

Mumu We Need Season 3!!!! It's such a good drama. The cliffhanger definitely means they'd be a season 3, right? Because, why would they hide seo dong jae's answer?!?!?!!!

Nancy Stranger season 3 with Same Main Leads please ?

anin oh great, open ending... season 3 please, i'm so curious...

Melissa It ended with a huge possibility for a 3rd season!! Yes please!!

Owood It will be so funny if what Cho Seong-Woo said in the award back in 2018 comes true, though later he said that during the filming for season 2 he's regretted it. Lol. To me I am satisfied if it were true. Love the duet with Bae Doo-Na. Oh I hate the lingering feeling and trying to guest what Prosecutor Seo Dong-Jae tries to divulge.

Ren Give me season 3 pleaaaaaseeeeeee :" Will miss si mok and han yeo jin every saturday night....

Michel another season would be perfect to wrap everything. Everything in this drama is nearly perfect.

enca season 3 please ..!!!????? though i am seeing now your advance message for the finale... thumbs up frm main and the rest of the cast..

min i seriously love this series so much. the suspense and the deeper bond between shimok and yeojin. waiting for season 3.

isha Season 2 is one of those shows that takes a little bit of hindsight to appreciate. It's slow in the first half, and I was a little bit off put by initial conflict that was set up between the police and prosecution over investigation rights, because it's painful to watch our duo get torn apart when we know they have such easy, lovable chemistry. But later you'll find it's important to set up the background for the crime. As the action increases, and the crime-mystery element that we know and love from Season 1 kicks in, the initial conflict serves to heighten the tension, increasing the stakes. It makes our duo working together that much more satisfying, and the theme of weeding out corruption that much stronger. The actor of Woo Tae-Ha is slightly mismatched for this show; I felt his emotions were a bit stiff and comical in the way he acted, compared to the precise, minimal, but fluid acting of his peers. We're now at the finale, and I really appreciate how the writers chose to take a fresh, innovative turn on a crime TV show by giving it more stakes while broaching real-world issues that makes you think. While it sounds appealing, I think repeating the same sort of structure as in Season 1 would have made for a good, but ultimately derivative Season 2 that would have felt stagnant in terms of characters and plot. This drama requires a lot of your intellectual brain power, but if you're down to really understand it, it's a satisfying one.

Etum Definitely will be seoson 3! Amazing plot twist!! Crazy! Can not believe it 1 episode more!!! Don't want to say goodbye!

Michel Wow the plot twist of 15th episode was crazy. I cannot believe they could wrap it in one more episode. One more season please? please?

chocobo2012 This season is a bad idea. After finished ep 14, I think it destroyed what the season 1 created!

youu8 omgg no reason to hate this! the plot hit me.. ILuvit!

Nanajd Hoping for a season 3! This time focus more onscreen time for our fav dynamic duo's, simok and yeojin pls. More task for them to work on together pls. Also witnessing simok's positive change in handling his emotion n expression ever since yeo jin came into his life. So many things to write about!! I just wish stranger2 could have longer eps like 20? ??

Nancy Eng SPOILERS!...

It's unbelievable that Seo Dong Jae is alive after more than 5 days but I'm glad he is. Now it's narrowing down to the other mysteries with the prosecutors and police and the death of the prosecutor who died in the car. Chief Bit and Woo Tae Ha are hiding some serious info and it looks like in the final two esp it will be their downfall. Si-mok really has his wits in proving what he suspect and Yeo Jin is great as his comrade. Really has you thinking of the possible scenarios in this drama and I can't wait for the ending even though I wish it could gone on for a while.

Cadence Episode 14 is very thrilling. Superb acting from the casts especially Cho Seung Woo ❤️? 2 episodes left to close this season. Huhu. I want more!!! Season 3 ?

xyz rite nao me rly hate them ... y haz wait 7 days ... grrrrrrrr

Pumi You may think season 1 is better. And season 2 is confusing. Wait until ep.13-14. It was Daebak!!

Jetstar Stranger season 2 is extremely intriguing with all the twists and plots. I can’t wait to watch the last two episodes. All the Actors and Actresses are great in acting. Respect to all and can’t wait to watch CSW’s next drama and also look for the shows he acted before.

Rizky Hamdanih When, Hwang Shi Mok said about Young Eun Soo, my heart is hurt. Its so sad.

Ec I love this series. I hope season 3 is coming

Ina I was sure it was a kid, but I got the kid wrong :))) The prosecutor is not alive, we need him in Life 2, remember? I mean, I hope he is using his offset time to persuade the writer into writing season 2 of Life. <3

P.S - what's with their phones? I swear to God everytime a phone rings it sounds so bad as if the sound is breaking in.

Kimchi SPOILER ALERT!! If you haven't watch the drama just skip my comment.

Shit, too many possibilities at the beginning. We've got segok police station case, park gwangsu case, hanjo group, even I also suspect Woo Taeha and Choi Bit, Dongjae's wife, Jung Minha too. It turns out that the case actually started from Tongyeong? The plot twist....... For those people who are confused because too many problems, please just keep watching bcs its worth towards the end. I hope Seo Dongjae still alive :")

LoneGunMan Not as good as the first season. A little more confusing and jumbled, but episode 13 started tying all the loose ends together.

Lovesimok If somethg happens to yeojin n it makes simok anxious or cry.. Wow... That shows something! Shows how impt n precious yeojin is in simok's life. In the end_ep 16 they end up as a couple. ☺☺☺ wow... I hope we can witness somethg out of this two before this season ends :( or will there be a season 3?

Koko I like the fact that Simok always get his intels by himself. I love his cold, bold, intelligent character even more. Only if he got much more of the screen times he deserves as a main character. Btw, he always unable to savour his foods even though it is already in front of him always crack me up.

PlainDramaStan Season 1 is still the best. Am sorry but there's so many loopholes that I can't even understand. Problem with another problem.

Georgia I don't appreciate the politics in Stranger 2 and the way the series revolved around the politics of investigation rights. Both agencies - prosecution and police force - have their own share of corruption and good deeds. More than the need to establish a black and white policy on investigation rights is the need for both agencies to clean up their own mess and create a system that addresses internal corruption.

Both Simok and Yeo-jin got entangled in the politics that it diminishes the display of their strengths, values and character in this series. I also feel that their friendship didn't evolve so much in this series. They were more friendlier towards each other in the first season than in the second one.

Rian Lmao the reoccurring joke of Simok never being able to eat continues! But I seriously feel so bad for him...

Anyways I agree that the actor for Taeha doesn't really suit the character. Maybe it's because I like his other roles but he doesn't suit the conniving and plotting-type, he's not very threatening? I think the character could have been older too.

The beginning of season 2 was a little slow, but it was necessary to set up the main case. While all of them are connected and the prosecutors vs police plot is basically the reason why all the old cases are reinvestigated, it doesn't have the same excitement as the first murder in season 1 that captures your attention right away. Honestly I don't care for the Choi Bit/Taeha and the Hanjo plot line at all, it's all very boring business/politics drama, necessary again for the plot though. Also Yoon Seah's actress (the new ceo of hanjo/wife of changjoon) overacts a lot, tbh it's a little strange considering how realistic/serious the other characters are. Anyways, looking forward to seeing how everything wraps up (just finished ep 12!)

Kimchi So far the storyline was good, at first I don't really like Choi Bit & Woo Taeha. I thought the production team didn't choose their character well. But during the drama I can accept choi bit character, but not with Woo Taeha. He doesn't have the dignity as a prosecutor, the way he spoke seemed rushed too. It would be great if the one who played Woo Taeha was someone else. I know he is a good actor because I've watched some of his dramas, but this time his characters didn't quite match with him

AR I wish Choi Seung Woo will have drama with Shin Hye Sun as a couple someday. I watch stranger, and in this 2nd CSW character never once look happy.. :((

Georgia Please let Simok eat. He will become malnourished for not being able to eat since Season 1.

Simokyeojin Left 4 more eps. :( I hope there will be more yeojin n simok's scene together!! If kissing scene is too much to ask for, can we at least have a hugging scene? Or a few scenes simok caring for yeojin??

A passerby I'm not gonna lie but I was lost since ep 3/4 and got finally understanding what's going on again in about ep 7/8. I regretted not taking classes on legal and forensic topics. So much bts works & sweeping under the table in action. Too many legal terms but I ain't complaining. I learn a lot from this season and I actually starting to love it out of all the dramas being currently aired now. It has a very different POV & in-depth plot compared to previous criminal & legal dramas. The most realistic & fresh drama I'd say. In actuality, you'd never know who is behind all the crimes. There's a saying that "you might passed by a murderer on the street without knowing it"... Hope the cases were nicely solved as they progress, and not being too rushed.

mai hope this drama never ends. i love both cho seung woo and bae doona's acting. they are really daesang material. Cho Seung Woo's doesn't have to talk but he can show facial expression perfectly. And he doesn't have to tell us that he's in pain but he manage to show us only in certain expression. As expected from 2 times daesang winner. Let's win more!!!!

Mikha Stacia Have to wait until episode 12 to see Hwang Si-Mok smile..his lovely smile.. thank you for your great acting Mr. Cho Seung Woo., Bae Doo-Na and to the writer for great storyline. Only Yeo-Jin who could make him smile. Love si-mok and yeo jin chemistry. Only stranger that we could not figure out who is the bad guy..wait until final episode. Love stranger 1 & 2... will be waiting for other season..hope never end.?????

bored love drama i wish kdrama not always about love (iam getting bored), i really love this drama season 1 and 2, but season 2 more complex and need more brain, story plot make me excited to think who do this bcos i have no clue, everyone have motive but the question is why? i still have no idea, i really should watch after all episode end, its torturing me lol

Mrs. Yooshijin Kinda sucks they took out the mains brain problem out. love stranger but season two is waaayyy to complicated dialogue wise and it doesn't help when it's on Netflix and translation sucks. I've been watching dramas for 10 years and watched up to episode 6 but I think I'll call it quits superb drama but way to advance for me I literally have no idea whats going on.

JennyBee Fantastic drama. Finally a proper crime show that is intelligent and makes you think. I still can’t guess what’s going to happen next. That’s a sign of good writing. I liked both season one and two. Just because s2 is slightly more complex that’s not put me off watching. I actually prefer to watch less bubblegum romance stuff these days - maybe it’s the old age catching up to me.

Min I Need Season 3!!!! Lol S2 hasn’t finished airing yet but I’m really curious on what kind of storyline the writer-nim may come up with after this. S2 is so different than S1 although the quality is still so consistent, the casting, the pace.

Jay Season 1 was great. But watching til Ep11 of Season 2 keeps me wondering if i should still follow this series. I don’t feel the same level of excitement and thrill when compared with S1. Conflict is too long and becomes boring. I still trust with the good acting of main actors but storyline is losing my interest.

Nova ????????????

Un modeste admirateur "Stranger 2" is certainly the smartest TV show out there. Some of the dialogs are university-level discussions on the legal and constitutional difficulties the police is faced with in its everyday job. And without understanding fully all the details myself, a simple example I can give is a criminal arrested by the police, but released almost immediately by prosecutors in order to protect his "human rights". As Bae Doo-Na's character says "Is the prosecution a human rights organization now ?" Unfortunately, the law sometimes forgets the human rights of the victims who are suffering. Anyway, a philosophical TV show in a way, which may not be as easy-going as what you normally watch, but which will teach you to think and to question the established order.

Lydia after finish watching the 1st season again, now i begin to remember all the cast and the storyline look promising.. Can't wait to see what happen to the next episode...

Delly Finally, I can finally see the light of this drama. After 10th episode. As expected, it's only get better when they are working together. When hwang si mok in investigation mode. More more more....

Sakae Ep. 10 Lovely (and foxy for keeping us in suspence) Lee Soon Yeon is the best anywhere. What a fantastic screenwriter. I love her work.

Duo Si Mok and Yeo Jin have fantastic working relationship. The way Si Mok is asking questions (well researched in advance) without compromising Yeo Jin, is best in drama

Who is getting fired? Sounded like Si Mok, but it also could be Jung Min Ha. Hard to tell from preview.

anassia am i the only one who likes season 2 much much better than the first season?

Echo Season 2 started off slow. The directing is much different from season 1. I miss the thrill and suspense season 1 had. Also the way the main characters interacted with each other. But season 2 has grown on me. I can’t wait for the next episode to find out how a police’s watch is linked to all of this.

jeon sadii Seo Dong Jae Better Be Alive Or Else ???

Sunny Best of the best. It started rather boring but now that it reached ep 10, I cannot wait for the next episode. It is so thrilling, I am sure I will rewatch it after the series end.

Dell It's getting better but I'm so pissed off because they keep referring to 3rd person. And whats worse, I don't even know anymore who are they referring to. Their conversation is not straightforward. Sometimes, who are they referring to, what are they referring to. Their conversation alone going on so many direction. It annoys me. I shouldn't put so many expectation in this drama.

eeriefreddie honestly, i shouldn't have kept my hopes up after the first couple of episodes. though not a particularly awful show in its own rights (the acting is solid, the directing as well), it lacks several key elements that made season one so enthralling. firstly, the characters' personalities have been altered. the very people that made us love the show aren't acting like themselves. instead of his impassive confidence, shimok gives off meek vibes. instead of her passionate dedication to what's right, yeo-jin shyly meets yoon se-won of season one as if she's star struck. they're not themselves, and it made me want to pick up the season and drop it off a cliff.

another aspect lost in this season is the mystery and suspense. there's nothing keeping you going here; most of the first half of the season was us listening into conversations and watching as characters discover info we knew half an episode ago.

NicoleCG When is Si-Mok going to get to eat? I laugh so hard when he sits down to eat because I know he’s going to get interrupted.

Eien It's not that the cinematography became cheaper. I think the videography of the show is just as fine as the first season. The Color Grading of the entire show though isn't the same in the first season. The 2nd season aesthetic focused more on blues and cold colors while the 1st season had more colors to it overall.

Also, the show's plot, music, character is so tight I can't believe people are dissing it either because; bias of the first season, less screen time of the dynamic duo in the first half, or because the plot is too complicated for a drama.

Although it's a bit regrettable most didn't see the beauty of this show in the first 6 episodes, despite having consistent high ratings, I'm glad people are tuning into it more!

@Alexey how is this sequel season unsuccessful when last week's ep already exceeded over 8% ratings on a cable tv channel? with the fact that the finale ep of season 1 has only achieved about 7% viewership ratings. if you're a fan of season 1, i don't see why y'all keep berating this season? yes the plot might be moving at a rather complex pace in this season, but the plot development gets better from ep 7 tho so i really don't get all these fuss in the comments at all

Alexey Judging by the trailers you can clearly see how cinematography is better in first season than in second. The previous director was amazing. I absolutely loved his work with "Memories of Alhambra". Perhaps, that's the main reason why this season isn't as successfull. Directing, cinematography. It's different. Things seem to become a bit cheaper than before. I feel like this season was made in 2016 and first one in 2020. It was just very very well directed.

Ina @Wulan - Jung Min-Ha kind of reminds me of the rookie you're talking about and that died in season 1.

Wulan Wow, I'm not the only one who thought that the one who kidnap See Prosecutor was the high schooler kid. I thought about it when I see his hand while watching the video of Seo Prosecutor's wife.

I hope, Seo Prosecutor wouldn't end the same like the woman prosecutor in season 1 (I forget her name, sorry). Please, save Seo Prosecutor!!

Ki Kidnapper is .....

I believe it is Managing Director Park from the Hanjo Group. In Episode 4, when Prosecutor Seo Dong-Jae met Chairwoman Lee Yeon-Jae at her office, Managing Director Park kept making facial expressions like he was going to vomit while they were talking. He also seems to have a slim build like the person on the computer keyboard in ep.8.

Eien OH man I am so excited for the next episode!! One thing that I really want to happen though is for the Yongsan Police to know that Si Mok did help them get that warrant for the scammer case in the beginning.

Since everything is somewhat connected though, I wonder if that case would resurface after the current situation with Dong Jae

Jounei I was so excited when i saw the season two. Although my braincells can’t handle too much about the plot but im so into this kind of show. As i have been following and watching when it comes to a thrill part why does everytime that happen prosecutor Heang about to have a bit.. it stop then he goes???

I can’t wait to fig about woo tae ha and choi bit connections?

Sakae @Ina - yup, the hands on keyboard under poor lighting seems small or perhaps feminine. There could be however more than one person involved.

I cannot claim it's best drama this year yet since I do not watch them all, but I can say it takes all my free time thinking about it. It is really evolving into good (if not excellent) weekend entertainment. I simply love it.

Initially I had trouble following it, but now I remember faces, names, who is who, so it's easier to follow this cliffhanger.

Ina @Sakae - I had doubts too, but I am now definitely sure it's the kid. (that was a very young hand on that mouse). Way to go director, smooth af :)))

@bingbing - I think the ratings will go up, mostly because it is easier to follow the plot. It took me 6 episodes to see the spark and attitude the characters use to have. I am now enjoying it <3

bingbing My opinion..S2 is very complicated..episode 1 & 2 is still easy to understand..2 cases appeared. But after that it focus on battle between police and prosecutor (too much mentioned about theory and procedure)..episode 7 mentioned too much theory also after prosecutor Seo Dong Jae missing..the rating drop episode 7 & 8. I not sure if the 2 case in the beginning are linked to Seo Dong Jae missing...

Venus I Love This Series! The 2nd season is exceptional, as expected. It was worth waiting for 3 years. Can we also hope for a season 3? I rarerly find such a good tv show!!!

Anotherstranger12 I cannot express how much I love this series. Those stares, and tension between my fave duo in the whole of Kdrama makes me crazy. It was pure torture waiting for a week to watch the new episodes ????

Anotherstranger12 That scene from Ep 8 when Si-Mok rode Yeo-Jin's car instead of taking his own, will forever be on my mind ❤️ YJ: hmm. I'm not going back here (crime scene) though. SM: I'll just take a cab. ? this slowburn is killing me I swear!

Sakae @Ina I had the same thoughts. That excessive camera focus on footwear was suggestive, but I thought under circumstances when there are many other probable candidates I've first rejected that thought as not realistic interpretation, yet based on Occam's razor principle, it's probably the kid, crazy at it sounds.

Eleanor If you're looking who Lee Sung Jae is he is the brother of Lee Yeon Jae. He doesn't appear in S1 but if you remember he was already mentioned because Lee Chang Jun is the prosecutor in charge with his case and because of this case Lee Yeon Jae met Lee Chang Jun. ?

kdramalover My fav Geomsanim! I love this drama so much! Btw, 3 years passed, Officer Park Soon-chang (Song Ji-Ho) is getting more handsome. I wish him more dramas in the future.

Eien Omg I just watched ep 7 and oh my god it is near torturous to have to wait another week for the next episode. I want to know what happens next! And tbh there's a lot alluding to the one who kidnapped Seo Dong-Jae to be the kid with the focus on the shoes and whatnot. I'm still not a 100% sure it's him but with what we have so far, he's the most likely suspect.

I guess I'm one of those few people who really enjoy the no-romance aspect of this show and I hope it stays that way... Honestly, they just felt like friends in S1 and in S2, like any friends you have in life, they don't have to be together all the time because they're both leading their own lives but have each other's back when they need to.

Ina Is it just me, or it's kind of obvious that the one who has Seo Dong-Jae is that little sociopath kid? The shoes, the height, the way he fell so easily when he was hit, it all kind of gives it away. Also, I'm pretty sure that place he's holding him looked like a school. The kid serves as a good comparison of what Si-Mok would have turned out like, if he wouldn't have learned to control his anger. Seo Dong-Jae suggested that the kid just "enjoys hitting other people". Hate tothink about it, but there was a scene (donno where I saw it, trailer perhaps) when Si-Mok was reenacting a crime.. hope it wasn't Seo Dong-Jae's. He's such an interesting character, would be a real shame if he were to die like this. P.S.. stop wanting love for Si-Mok. He asked Yeo-Jin if she draws anymore...so... he's getting there, little by little, a bit needy for her attention I think :))))

Guiltypleasure Like most of you, I often come back here for checking the name. The story is too heavy and complicated. But the dialoque so fast and it's interesting. Especially annoying & ambisius prosecutor seo dong jae character. He is so human and interesting, so sometimes he is likeable, other than his handsomeness factor LOL. Episode 6th & 7th so surprising , it broke my heart.

peachy For people who is asking who is Lee Seung Jae he is the brother of Lee Yeon Jae. In season 1, he was mentioned there a few times. But now that he was out of prison in season 2, he wants to overthrow his sister and to become the chairman of Hanjo.

What I want in this drama is the lack of "romance". Many would say that its

Msara12 I'm going to watch this but I am a bit disappointed. At the very end of season 1 they implied abother season. So remember at the end of the last episode it was 10 months after everything occured and Si Mok is at the other office and Won Cheol calls and says theu need the special investigations team again, he tells Si Mok to come back, and he says Dong Jae hasn't changed. Then the end. That was it. So they implied that's where a second season would pick up... Yet... The second season is 2 years later and Si Mok is still at the other office just now thinking of going back to the Western District. So this one does not at all start off where season one left. I just don't get it.

But like I said I will keep watching. I may end up liking it and maybe they will fill in the void of why he never went back and ehy they didn't start another special investigations team like they implied was going to happen.

Sakae @Adam - I think you would be better off to watch S1 first. S2 in some regards is new and different, however there are relationships between police and Si-Mok, including his demeanour, which could be better understood after you watch S1.

Regarding S2, not everyone will like it. It is hugely conspiratorial, tangled, and not as straight forward as the S1, but in some sense it is supper blast. I am in for it, and beginning to like it more than S1. Due to rapid dialog and several tranches of action, as non native speaker, I have to watch each episode two or three times, until I get all into one picture. It is however an excellent drama IMHO worth watching. As stated before, biggest torture is waiting from one weekend to another.

Bye What a shame that I’m dropping this drama. Season 1 was a blast and I was expecting Season 2 to be the same.

E. Zimmerman This series, so far, (up to episode 5), leaves me feeling like Korean people are way too intelligent for less cerebral beings like me to understand what's going on here. After seeing "Stranger 1" which I felt was one of the best K-dramas I'd ever seen, I was hoping there might be a romance between the lead characters Hwang Si-Mok and Han Seo-Jin, but so far, there's not even the tiniest spark of chemistry. Maybe I'll just have to stick with it and see what happens next.

Shinn This season is too complicated and not interesting at all. The worst part is the chemistry between two main characters is lost. They are not even with each other. The charming character of female detective is lost. She is under too much stress and cannot make comfort to Hwang Si Mok. Hwang Si Mok seems lost and alone. We want the lovely team, we have seen in Season 1. We want them to be in relationship. Plz director plz. It's the only reason, I keep waiting for weekends.

Lydia Waiting for 2 years for this new season, but...i can't understand a thing what happening, watch until episode 3 still blur so i stop there and start watching the 1st session to refresh my memory...

Delly its tooooooooooooo complicated. i would rather spend my time studying than deciphering and connecting everything they are talking about to the issue at hand. its a torture to my not so clever brain. i havent give up simply because ive been following the 1st season. if not, i would surrender watching this after ep 1 & 2. when hwang si mok and han yeo jin handle the drowning case, thats the only scene that makes me pump up coz they worked together. so so disappointing

Liz I kept on coming back to this page to check the name and who's who.. hahaha! So many names and it's kinds confusing. Who is Lee Sung Jae? lol.. I even checked Stranger 1 for this. I loved Stranger 1, no boring nor dull moment. I'm on episode 5 of this Stranger 2 and still not much exciting happening.

kinoptg who is lee seungjae? like im on ep 3 rn but confused af

Brilliant! The first episode was lull, made me give up . But glad I didnt. When you watch this series with your head and heart , this is a piece of brilliance!. This kind of plot can end in many ways and you embrace that being grateful how it is unraveled. Just thinking will binge on the first season and come back to get the complete kick :)

Adam I’m enjoying this so far. But there’s some question that I need answer before I can fully enjoy this without being confused with S1 since I’ve forgot some character in S1.

Does Hanjo Group plot exist in S1. I knew the chairwoman character exist in S1. But I forgot her role. Does his father (Lee Yun Beom) character related to S1 ? Why was he never been shown. How about her husband which goes to prison. Which one he is in S1. I felt a little bit confused here by all the new character.

or should I just watch S1 back ?

Btw, this drama was so intense. I shall praise the writer and also the one who created the script. I felt whenever they were discussing and debating something, everything that came out was a genius. I’ve even questioned my own conscience after several scenes. Whether to have a strong principle and conscience or whether to go with the flow of dirty politics and see the big picture.

Ian Vinh I'm glad to be able to watch this show week by week. i found this show on Netflix in 2018 and was immediately hooked. I think it's taken a bit longer to settle into the story but, it could be because there are a lot of different story threads that will connect as the season goes on. I do hope that they don't keep Yeo-Jin and Si-mok on opposite sides for too long. They have a really good dynamic. Obviously there is going to be a lot of tension between them as they are forced apart due to being on opposite sides of the debate about investigative authority. It seems like they will eventually team up again after the revelation that their respective bosses have been doing shady stuff. I do like what they've done so far with Dong Jae. He's not completely bad but he seems he just wants to be on the right side of the fight. Hopefully, they give him something that tests his morality throughout the season. So far after watching 5 episodes, I would give the season a 8.5/10, only because it seems there is a little more they are trying to setup, and continuing some of the drama from the fallout with the Hanjo group story from last season.

Eien Season 2 is so good so far. It's really believable on how it would progress from season 1. How what they did in s1 wouldn't really stop everything but cut a single long string from the cloth of corruption. I love how the cases are being developed as well. Unlike in s1 where the cases started from a single point and spread out, it's the opposite in s2 where they present you with many seemingly disconnected cases. I also really like how it would seem like Si Mok and Yeo-jin are being pitted against each other and that knowing each other was an advantage in s2 but is now a disadvantage in s2.

This drama is just so good. The politics are clear as they can be and thrilling. I am so excited for the next episodes I wish they can come sooner!

Bbiuu I just wish that they dont make Seo Dongjae die ?

Noonaloveskdrama @Eleanor you are right. One conflict after the other. We need a thorough minds to understand all of the conflicts. Still I'm rooting to this drama. Gonna be patient in watching.

Eleanor Season 1 gives a single case rooting to other different cases but in Season 2 the writer gives us a different approach, they are presenting all the cases that will lead us to that main case in the end. A bit complex, but it's thrilling and interesting.

Strangerrr I really wish simok and yeojin have more scenes than the others. The writer need to add in a few of season 1 elements! cannot be too realistic cos this is a drama. I hope she reads the comments by strangerseason1 's fan worldwide. We need to see progress in simok n yeojin's friendship/relationship. Their chemistry is one the keypoint that keeps most of us rooting for stranger season 2! Like me, i only started watching strangerseason1 when i saw clips of cute scenes between simok and yeojin on youtube.

If this drama is just focused on actions, politics and dialogues , the ratings will really drop!! it will just be too boring to watch further......

Pls writernim!! :( more Simok scenes OR simok n yeojin scenes! Its already ep 6...

just passenger @lana No wayyy. look those ratings. we just found that the situation isnt easy anymore. and for some people, maybe they just dont get it. not mean for being mean.. but they already shown all the things about action, mystery even drama stuff in season 1.

and yaa.. we just know that the dialogue is became more intense, detail and realistic. and somehow maybe it became harder to get 100% perfect translation. i mean we know that the writer absolutely kind of the idealist one. so i think she just being sooo her.

Katz The plot is more complicated than season 1 and I had a hard time following the story. Regardless, the story is good because now it deals with more internal conflicts between the police and the prosecutors. Just like the first season, the first episode deals with a murder case but as time goes by, more issues were found out.

Cadence Claire Season 2 is not boring. The story is building up now on the recent episode. And the cases being mentioned, they are all related so you should really watched it so you could understand. It's very interesting how will those cases connect everything with what's happening between the police and prosecution.

Echa Wohooo!! Every episode is getting more & more interesting..

Michelle What happen to season 2?too many unnecessary scenes..waited to get disapponted,i dropped at episode 2.it doen't feel like season 1..what a waste?.too much talking and i can't understand the point.husshhh.

Sakae @Jbaeka If I may offer an opinion, it is (also) about drowning case, but there is much more to it in the background, namely corruption on both sides of Korean law. Closing file on that case without proper due process as favor to a politician, etc. is rubbing Si Mok wrong way. This show requires some more thinking than what we had served in S1. Not everyone likes it that approach, but I do. I also must admit as a dependent on subs, that each episode I needed to view more than once, and all four episodes in tandem I've watched three times. Now I know who is who, positions, agenda, and it all makes slowly sense. I think it is going to be great at the end.

Jbaeka What kind of case is that .. can they make the case more interesting rather than drowning due to a line was broken .. come on !

Benben @Lana you're not the only one! I'm enjoying it too!

Lana From the comments here........ am I the only one who actually enjoys it thooo ??

whattheheck What the heck! not interesting at all after all the long wait. not sure if i want to continue the episode 2

DISAPPOINTED! Too many new people and storylines making this to hard to follow, lacking a plot and BORING!

BigfanSeason1 Too many lingering shots that led nowhere. Taking on bigger issues of public officer's rights may be lost on the viewers when the plots are complex and not well developed. Too many names are introduced at one go. It doesn't help when you're not a native speaker and it takes a few rewinds to follow the plot. So Mok was one of the most memorable intelligent characters of K dramas but here he just looked lost and awkward. Please bring back the standard of the splendid production of Season 1 if this continues.

Ina Still waiting for this season to start. :)))

Lemu I like the story but HYJ is so lame this one she just wht can i say ............but i am waiting

Marci Love it..????. can't wait for more✌???

Sakae @Anne Regarding different Seo Dong-Jae voice pitch, I was wondering about it as well. Makes you wonder if the actor has changed his voice deliberately (which is not that easy) to project his new personality. On the other hand, since he plays parts in both seasons, one would think he should stay the same as we know him from S1. Changing voice will not make him suddenly an angel. His character is still a shenanigan.

Irene carneiro Unfortunately, after watching 4 episodes of season 2, the impression I have is that the new director is not keeping up the high standard of season 1. Everything is lacking: the camera is too slow, lacks rythm, Simok seems lost, shy, almost scared.. What happened to the inteligente dialogs and suspense?. Unimportant scenes and details are too long as if covering up for a lack of plot!,, Please, call the director os season 1 urgently!

Anne Am I the only one who feel strange with Seo Dong-Jae tone and accent? It feels different from the first season. He used high tone when he talked and I don't know why but I kinda feel like I heard North-Korean accent. I keep thinking about it so it so disturbing for me. No offense tho

sf I don't like at all Bae Doo-Na's hairstyle.

Sakae Ep. 4 is in and done. S2 - for me - seems much more complex than S1. I need to see every episode more than once just to get grasp of all what's going on. Kim Sa-Hyun come off as a jerk. Seo Dong-Jae is back to his old tricks.

In all, I love every minute of it.

Abyss Definitely enjoying it! Have been waiting a long time since the first season, honestly interested to see how Kang Won Cheol is pivoting.

Most looking forward to see how Woo Tae Ha gets slowly converted by our Hwang-pro. He deserves a higher up who actually protects him properly if Kang turns out to be a dud for Lee Yeon Jae.

Really digging how Han Yeo Jin is kinder but still incredibly strong.

Jayson Why didn't Kim So-ra return as Choi Young this season?

Confused i rewatched again and again eps 1-3 and browsing also stranger 1 A bit confused but now i understand Before this who the f*ck is Lee seong jae Season 1 this character not shown So far okay Si mok character still strong!

sf It's so hard to follow this drama. Too many names, names of people functions, names of many institutions, rules of many institutions, too many characters, plus they speak so fast, and the sequences are moving also fast like a mill that spins non-stop.

tino personally, i'm enjoying the plot and dialogue complexity of this season. the defining qualities of the last season that are missing here is mystery and suspense; so far, there's been little of both. because i'm already invested in the characters from the previous season and it's a solid plot, however, i don't feel bored or underwhelmed by the slow pacing and attention to detail. if the slow pacing was because of a weak plot being stretched thin, i would definitely have stopped watching. in the first episode there were way too many flashback scenes but i've seen that issue resolve as the season progressed. overall, excited to see the plot pick up and i'm enjoying seeing my peeps back in action!!

but can we please start a petition to have han shimok's hairstyle changed. he really said: school boy hours

Delly I shouldn't have expect much. Sequel never do you good. I have watched both episodes and it is so confusing. I wonder why is it so hard for me digest whatever they are talking about in both episodes. Everything is jumbled up. Too many issues and you dont even know where this drama is going. Hope it's getting better because im a die hard fan of the 1st season. I think the director of this drama is too ambitious. Should have make it a little bit straightforward.

Laura So far as good as the first season, even with a new director. First episode was a bit slow at the start but picks up by episode two.

DDD Little bit disappointed Ahn Gil Ho PD not directing Stranger 2, he's my favorite director. It's still good story, maybe not as good as season 1, we'll see.

asdfghjkl Bae Doo Na looks so pretty with long hair!!!

Sakae Despite my hesitation about Ep. 1, I was pleased to hear voice over in the intro by Yoo Jae-Myung. So distinct. After some thinking, I think season 2 has potential to be another killer season, and we will be begging for season 3. If the plot develops well, we can forget about hair styles. It is obvious that Han Yeo-Jin is glad to see her friend, but fears their friendship will face some hard times as they are asked to defend differing interests. I am now all in on this one, and hardest thing for me is waiting for next episode. Korean drama rocks (who knew).

Ina @Sakae I too think his hairstyle needs to change. His cold, calculated posture is actually gone just because of that. He now seems like a curious student.

Sakae I have now watched Ep. 2 four times, and I am beginning to understand what's going on, and like story plot more. First impression wasn't too good. Might be totally different case from one seen in S1 (search for a criminal). As Chief said, this is a battle for jurisdictional turf. One thing has has however not changed, poor Si-Mok still can't finish his meal. You can almost place a safe bet as soon as he begins eating, and first bite of food is on its way to mouth, phone will ring and he is up and on his way to answer a call of duty. His hair-style is however disturbing. In S1 it was better. I did like Yeo-Jin with shorter hair, but it's not that bad.

C’mon OMG I waited 2 years for season 2! I was so bored watching episode 1&2 lol well let’s wait and see If it gets any better.

jaykayyyyyy kind of underwhelmed by this season the storyline doesn't rlly hit that hard anymore idk ?

Sakae @ara In my judgement you would be better off to watch season 1 first. A lot of, not everyone, characters have returned for season 2, and the Lee Yeon-Jae problems are related to the past. Si-Mok after all is also accused of something which happened in the season 1. To understand current working and personal relationships, their common past might answer some of it. Season 1 was absolutely gripping drama. Best, very best one!

Sunsun Season 2 already catched me. I liked the story, it seems complex for now but i think it is the charm of this this drama.

ara i didnt watch season 1 season 2 is relates season 1? need to watch season 1?

Michael Only 2 episodes in but its not grabbing me yet like the first season, maybe this was a mistake

Ina Might be the fact that I am too attached to S1, which I personally consider to be the best Korean Tv series I have seen so far (closely followed by ”Signal”), but the beginning of S2 did not quite catch me as S1 did. Changing the director, up to this point, does not seem like a good idea.

Also, both of the main characters seem shy, humble and scared. I also get the feeling that they are trying too hard to make the story complex and Tae-Ha and Choi-Bit are sort of too much in the spotlight. The conversations are too complex and fast and I have not seen any action yet, but hey, these are just 2 episodes.

Sakae I have seen now Ep. 2, and it is now developing into a story, but I had to watch it twice to get grasp of fast conversation and complex scenarios. It is clear now that several people in top positions have their own agendas, and are using underlings as pawns to play their game. In Si-Mok they may have however bite more than they can chew; that's my feeling.

Spica Nuwara S2 1st episode has an excitement to it but 2nd episode consists of the conversations in the script among the police and the prosecutors seems lengthy. They should have shorten the conversation but more towards action. Hopefully episode 3 has more actions than more talking ?. My two cents worth if action stories gives more impact to the audience. Otherwise, audience would probably fell asleep with lengthy conversation.

Sakae Despite my determination to hold off until there is more episodes available, I shamefully gave up, and watched first episode. This is absolutely great, and kudos to translators who are so nice to us, who do not speak Korean and provide timely translation. (Maybe I should speak the language, and I am considering it. Lovely country.)

I am not sure what to think about the first episode. There is a lot of fog on and on and on, but story begging slowly developing in later stages. Still, Hwang Shi-Mok is lord know where, his buddy Han Yeo-Jin is also somewhere else, there is a lot of phoning, running around, but not the same as in Strangers 1, when Han was constantly chasing Shi-Mok and trying to keep up with his investigation.

What I got from this, there is probably cover up of a crime, and rich boy thinks he is in the clear, however without realizing that Shi-Mok saw him at the crime scene.

Shi-Mok is still emotionally cold, hardly saying Hello to Han when they got on the phone after many years, so I am not sure about chances for their romance.

Sorry for bringing this up, but I am going to miss Shin Hye-Sun. For some reason I came to like her character.

Episod 2 cannot come soon enough.

Kiya Already watched the first episode. The premise is soooo goooooodddddd. Han Yeo Jin being Han Yeo Jin when the higher ups tried to gain police's pride by attacking prosecution. Also we have an arrogant chaebol in this season. Can't wait for the conflict between Shi Mok and Yeo Jin and how they will overcome it their way.

Jane he only korean drama(season1) I watched several times in Netflix, USA. I love unexpected turns in stories and detailed actors. I absolutely adore two main charactors and their actors. No romance is a great idea in this intense episodes. I am so glad season 2 is finally streaming in USA in this pandemic era.

Elman Excelent Actor ) perfect kDrama

kiki Love the first season, will love this season too. J'adore Cho Seung-woo.

Melissa I am a huge fan of s1. Just finished ep1 of s2 but feel like it won’t have the same impact of s1. Hope it gets better.

Yaya I watched all the teasers and Choi Moo Sung looks hella charismatics. Also can't wait to see Shi Mok & Yeo Jin!!!

Blessy ? so it’s finally out. (!!)

ara hope shin hye sun cast on stranger 2..bring back young eun soo

secretforestnewbie Gaaawd, Cho Seungwoo slayin <3 this emotionless prosecutor is giving me all the feels. Bae Doona is a badass and yet warm-hearted as well! Hoping for a great and successful Season 2

Thislufy Hope this season will be a romance between shi mok & yeo jin?

Nan @Amaya I don't know if romance, but I'd love some strong emotional relationship between them! To see her breaking all his walls would be awesome.

Amaya Am I the only one whose hoping for a romance this season????? so exciteddddd

Ferra I'm waiting for your great acting Cho Seung Woo.

s i'm actually really hoping that hwang shimok and han yeojin will remain friends instead of progressing their relationship in a romantic way. i really really like the friendship/partnership they have and don't want Stranger to become a "typical mystery/thriller romance" korean drama.

Mary McWilliams Love, love, loved it. Can't wait for series 2.

I was hoping for romance between She Mok and Yeo Jin.

Maybe next series?

Tibong Thankyou Baeksang Award for introduce me to this amazing drama, i just finished season 1 and it was so amazing. can't wait for season 2. it a bit sad Lee Kyu Hyung not being part in this season.

please support this drama guys. 1st episode is a masterpiece. hope its gonna surpass the 1st season. omona omona im so excited...

Sakae For a while I was wondering about show continuity after season 1, but based on the cast diversity, I am now begginning to think this might be all fresh and new. One can watch it probably on its own, without actiually seeing the season 1. It will be interesting to see how Lee Yeon-Jae fits in (without father Lee Yoon-Beom). I've waited for this show for so long, I might hold back yet for a while, until almost to the end before I start watching 1st episode. I have no patience, and once I start, I want to go and go, and go...breaking up only for next cup of coffee.

Jane louise Riordan Wow..Watched first season on Netflix's ..one of the best drama series watched in a long time!!

Have been watching alot K series. on Netflix with subtitles in English..Hope Netflix gets second series!!!

Luv Bae Doo-Na ...and Cho Seung-Woo what talented actors...they and other cast members deserve to go up for Awards!!!

CH Yesss...Season 2....

kina Can't wait to see Doona

dulcetred can't wait for the second season!!!!

beatriz Im sooo excited!!!

Kiya I hope they explore Han Yeo Jin's background more in this season

Namgiljungwoo OMG OMG can't wait!!!!

Beck Great! 31 days countdown. Can't wait.

Hannah YES!!!! So excited! My favourite series so far, can't wait for season 2

Leila Lee Junhyuk??

Shakira Legit waiting with bated breath for this one!!! The first season was astounding!!!

Krishna Sai Same writer but different director...Oh I truly hope this season will be just as great as the last one, if not even better!

Sakae Page looks now promising, and among "old names" there are some new ones. I am hoping this is not final list of actors. For example Lee Yoon-Beom, one of the surviving and major protagonists in first season is not on the list yet, however his daughter is. Writer is the same, and it will be interesting whether Lee Soo-Yeon will develop story as semi-continuation of the first season, or he will rather quickly transition old faces into new scenes without much references to the past. Police department might be all new but two, so this looks like fresh start. Prosecution has new faces as well but three. I am really looking forward to this drama. First one was very good, and I am hoping second one will match it.

scarletsungrok i cant wait!! i recently rewatched season one because i heard news of season two and now i’m all hyped for it !!! the only good thing that happened in 2020 honestly :’)

scarletsungrok YESS FINALLY !!!!

Skeety Pebbles Can’t wait for season 2!! Si-mok better express his feelings about yeo-jin well this time ? his smile at the end of episode 16! we love character development ✨☺️

Kim Ma Ran OMG! Dont believe it has season 2. Been waiting for this a long time.

heobokman yes confirmed!! they're finally filming season 2!!

JongdaeDaTroll they better released this, idc if they decide to release it next year. I've waited almost 3 years for this.

meriem baitorou but Cho Seung-Woo is hving a new drama with Park Shin hye the first half of the year how they'll film season 2 I think they postponed the second season to this year becauz of Bae Doona busy schedule in sense 8 she nailed it btw

Lydia Cho Seung Woo & Bae Do Na is a must in the new season... Please don't change the cast...

Sakae Hwang Shi-Mok is working in Tongyeong? I thought that end of season 1 he was recalled back from Namhae to Seoul to go after someone in government. Looks like there is in season 2 a new plot and some discontinuity with season 1. Could be interesting.

guesswho I Can't Wait! Cho Seung-Woo is a great actor!

Sakae Lee Chang-Joon was in focus in first series, as story evolves around skeletons in his closet. One wonders if there will be someone else replacing him in similar predicament, or director elects totally different approach how to keep us in suspense. My guess is, that battleground will develop between Hwang Shi-Mok and Lee Yoon-Beom as two main protagonists. (It's fun to speculate.)

I really will miss Young Eun-Soo; sad person through and through with tragic end ending her career prematurely. I can't get over it two years later. In fact I was angry how Hwang Shi-Mok (mis)treated her, but then, I guess, mess in his head could explain his behavior.

moonlit_night please air soon. i've already waited 3 years, i cant wait any longer

weirdo aaaahhhh.. Bae Doo Na take the role..!! can't wait..

DDD Can't wait but sad the Director Ahn Gil Ho not directing this drama again, hope it still great because Writer & Cast are good.

drska Yessss! I'm glad Bae Doo Na join Stranger S2. Can't wait to see their chemistry on fire again~ shi mok ah, now that you can express your feelings well, please show it a lot to yeo jin >/////<

Sakae This drama, Season 1, held my attention from start to finish, and obviously I would like to see this as never ending story, or at least for a few seasons. Realistically, however, is it possible? Cast that was so essential to success on this series, is not going to be there in full force anymore for rather obvious reasons. Series reboot will miss Lee Chang-Joon,Young Eun-Soo, and many others. It is not going to be easy, but I wish them well. Scene which I loved to watch again and again was on in last dying moments when Hwang Shi-Mok goes to take something from his office cabinet, and there was on the top a group-phone photo of them, as they were attending dinner at Han Yeo-Jin house. It was the moment as we were, but no more. The end.

Season 2 will not have it easy to pick up and continue where season 1 ended. Looks like Lee Yeon-Jae will hopefully sign on, therefore I expect also bad man Lee Yoon-Beom come back with his dirty tricks. I will clear my calendar to watch it.

LKB Bae Doona pleeeeease take the role! Are you scared of your show getting more awards? :)

frit I love Jo Seung Woo but Stranger won't be Stranger without Bae Doona. :( Hope she responds with positive news soon.

On another note, Seo Dong-jae will be back! Lmao I love Lee Joon-hyuk and his portrayal of Dong-jae. We'll see how his story will pan out.

Stusal My husband & I just finish watching season 1 . So heartbreaking watching your beautiful and really really amazing Drama. We love everyone in the movie. Thank you for your great Drama??♥️We love it. Guess till then We will be waiting for season 2 Im so excited.Way to go everyone???

Stranger I know this sounds stupid but I wish they’d bring back shin hye sun too. I hope Bae Donna accepts coz this drama won’t be same without her.

Julietta I wish somehow the writer would bring back the character of prosecutor Young alive

Maddy Luv u so much oppa❤️ I luvd ur in gods gift now m watching stranger and again falling for u in each eps.. Waiting eagerly for stranger season..

toki Bae Doo Na!!!! No Bae Doo Na = No Stranger

Han Can't waittt Cho seung woo ❤❤❤❤

LCSW Cho Seung Woo in SF season 2. I really am hyped for this. I miss oppa in the small screen after Life. And of course the same writer, one of the most brilliant writers in the world!

Wood No way!!!! I accidently clicked the first season which I watched and I see this. Hype hype! Very happy to see it continues.

Elle Definitely can’t wait!!

Pinklanguage Finally! Great news:) Cho Seung Woo ♡♡♡
