Summary: There are many mistakes that led to the mess you’re in now, but the main three would have to be he who fell first, he who fell second, and you, who fell last.

Warnings: This takes place in a modern au where the aliens are humans! That said, this is part one of a three-shot fic that focuses on reader, Till, and Luka in elementary school! ( Around like first or second grade I imagined ) Luka is a warning in it of himself so unhealthy attachment, emotional disconnection, and health scares ahead. Summary: After another brutal experiment that leaves Luka dazed and in pain, he seeks out his sole pain reliever, you.

Warnings: If it wasn’t already obvious, this takes place in a lab-like hospital. That said, references of stuff like IV’s, blood, bandages, etc. are made so if that makes you uncomfy I strongly advise you opt out of this one! This takes place after Luka’s heart rate experiment with that sack of shit Herperu so if you aren’t aware of what that entails, I also advise you go look into it before reading this. You have been warned!

Teaser of the ReaderLukaTill fic I've started on..

This was all your fault. No matter what they made themselves believe otherwise, it was. The reason Luka’s once clear skin was stained by the remnants of earlier tears shed and his eyes were red and hung by deep, dark eyebags of regret. The reason Till’s eyes matched, but was topped off with a deep purple that resembled his boyfriend’s fingertips and his lips and nose had a crimson cast of blood over them. The reason both of them sat on the floor of your bedroom with the former’s breathing erratic and his body trembling like never before while the latter attempted to calm him despite having a dislocated shoulder and a broken foot—this was all a result of your naive actions and thoughtless decision-making.

What’s sad is that the first mistake was made all the way back in your elementary years during recess when you and Till were nine and Luka was seven.

This may or may not end up as another 10k fic though I do plan for it to end on a fluffier note than my Kunikuzushi fic but I make no promises..

The gentle silence that filled these white walls were deafening to your bloody ear. It drowned everything out. Your breath. Your heartbeat. The loud bouncing of your leg. It was as if you had actually went deaf. Part of you wished that were actually true. If you were deaf, you wouldn’t have become a victim to the cries of pain from Luka, the sharp winces of Till, the shattering sound that boomed through the room when Luka’s head collided and cracked your living room tv. The yell that followed afterwards from Till before he suddenly went silent when his stomach was suddenly penetrated by a knife. The same knife that had sliced your ear. The same knife that you had forgotten to secure before naively opening the front door of your apartment.

..That’s right. All of this was because of you. The reason that Till got stabbed. The reason Luka dyed your living room carpet red. The reason your sitting in the waiting room with your mother who, for the first time in her life, trembled with fear over the fact that she had almost lost her only child and may lose two children she saw as her own. The reason you may lose those two all at once despite only just now realizing your true feelings for them. All this pain you’re feeling now…it’s because of you and those stupid mistakes you made.

The first mistake being all the way back in elementary during recess that caused you three to meet in the first place.
