Date: 2026-07-13 12:33 pm (UTC)And in the worst case, who were they testing on, was it at all rigorous? Or could it be a "machine learning spots tanks by whether they're in snow or not" situation? It sounds very suspicious that he "just" extended the results from autism to ADHD. Has there been any reason to assume this isn't all some confirmation bias of some sort?

(I assume the 89% is comparing diagnosed autistic people with neurotypicals.)

Date: 2026-07-13 05:46 pm (UTC)Hope it does turn out to be legit. It could be very useful, perhaps helping encourage adults to look into an assessment, not just getting support earlier for children. (Though that is important).
