The three in one Bodywash/shampoo is a fun joke with Robert. But that isn’t really the cheapest option? It’s cheaper to buy bar soap in a big pack.

I think Robert uses basic toothpaste, bar soap, and unscented Shampoo he buys in bulk.

Added to this: I think Robert’s scent is just. totally neutral. Partly because unscented stuff tends to be cheap, but a lot because of his job. He doesn’t want the soap he uses triggering a kids asthma when he’s rescuing them, outside of the suit he’s doing stealth, and inside the suit it’s cramped and would get unpleasant if he wore something like cologne. The most you smell from him that is an artificial scent is if he’s just brushed his teeth.

Flambae on the other hand I think is your usual asshole who wears WAY too much of any scent he picks. He leaves a scent cloud of cologne when he passes and makes Robert feel like he can’t breathe (derogatory). He has gotten in trouble at least a couple times for wearing his cologne while working and either triggering Invisigirl’s Asthma or the allergies of a victim he was rescuing.

So when Flambae tries to get Robert to try different products that are better for his skin and hair? He fails miserably until he finds some fancy, Scentless, options.

Flambert Thought about the idea of Robert having “Groundhogs Day” style powers that can only be triggered by his own death:

Flambae is of course still pissed off by being arrested, but he thinks it’s a single moment. Robert knows better.

After Robert’s power is revealed, Flambae looks at his hand and wonders. If Robert is nuts enough to do things over and over until he gets the “correct” result unless stopped, how many times did he fight Flambae before deciding the result was worth it? Mechaman isn’t known for maiming his villains.

He asks, and doesn’t like the answer. How many times Robert died either because Robert died or a civilian just happened to be there or because *Flambae* died. And it makes him sick. Part of him is still mad he lost. A lot more I think wants to wrap Robert up in bubble wrap.

It’s not just Flambae doing it of course. The Z-team heard Robert describe his own death like an annoyance in a video game level, like the only ones that really mattered were the people around him, and they all decided he was Not Allowed Alone anymore.

But to Robert Flambae’s is the most surprising, and certainly the most weirdly domestic since in between making sure Robert’s power doesn’t activate he’s doing shit like making him meals.

Flambae is just trying to pretend that all the constant proximity is not make him suddenly appreciate Robert’s looks.
