:D

Found a solution for posting on LJ every day.  Technically, posting on FB is still writing, so... XD

I'm listening to this amazing song that I linked to in my music, and I am loving it.  Right now it's even my ring tone.

The last week and a half or two weeks have been intense, and I'm finally getting into the swing of things.  >.<  I hope that I can get better about the stuff I'm having trouble with.  I went to the pool today, and last night as well, and I'm seriously considering renting a locker so I have somewhere to put my swimsuit. D:  It's all drippy and wet in my towel when I walk home.

Chinese is still killing me, although not quite as badly now.  Japanese is predictably easy, and I'm getting excited about a scholarship that could pay for my foreign exchange to Japan summer after next.  Not much to say tonight, so I'll tlak more later.

An all around good day!

Today was a good day.  Thursdays and Tuesdays tend to be, but this one was especially good.  I had a ton of fun just being alive.  :DDD

I came up with names for my two new dolls since I don't want to juse call them by their model names.  The Tulip's name will be D'anxelie (DAN-zhe-lee) and the Annie's name will be Allora after the amazing Allora Gale.  AMAZING Allora Gale.  My favorite fanfiction authour ever!  She is writing Dauntless, a Code Geass fanfic.  X3

Yeah, my babies should be arriving tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to that.  I'm going to have a full day tomorrow though, so I REALLY hope that someone is home to sign for them!  I'm still not sure about when they will arrive tomorrow, so I'll probably be at school... Although I might be going up and down the hill several times just because I'm so excited.

>.<  My Writing 150 H teacher gave us an assignment for an essay that I probably won't like too much, mostly because of what my roomie told me.  I have to choose a Disney character I identify with and write a self-reflection sort of essay with that.  =.=  No one likes examining their imperfections, but I don't really want to do a cop-out essay... DX  Ugh!

My Chinese is still abysmal and I'm still drowning fast.  I think I need more than just what I'm getting.  DX

Japanese is of course still rediculously easy.  We are starting the first TRUE day of class on Tuesday.  Lol!  Everything up until then will have been review.  I nearly fell asleep in Japanese class again today just because of that.

Today is Sarinya's b-day!  <3 for my bestie in the whole wide world.

Hope everyone else has an amazing week!

Can't believe myself.

Okay... I'm an anime geek.  I wear corsets, I wear thigh-highs, knee-highs, etc, and I love wearing bold bright red lipsticks.  I also wear scarves over my head and on my hips occasionally.

And now I'm also officially a BJD geek.  >.<  I got a DollZone Annie and a DollZone Tulip.  I got them off of Junkyspot because I'm horrible at waiting, and I am so nervous.  >.>

For those unfamiliar with BJD:
http://bjd-wtf.livejournal.com/309.html

Yeah.  One girl is 43 CM and the other is 59 cm.  (The 43cm is about the size of a barbie and the 59 cm is like 2 foot tall-ish. Maybe.)

I think I'm going to hand sew clothes for them because I don't want the clothes to look all ghetto or be crocheted.  =.=  I don't like crocheted clothing on BJDs, or people.

On the downside the BJDs are arriving via UPS and you have to sign to get them... =.= My roomates are going to think I'm insane.  I mean, they already do, but it'll be worse.  I know my room-roomate doesn't like BJDs anyway.  So... I might go upstairs to get help opening them, or I'll take them somewhere without people with judgement in their eyes.  I have to find some people who like BJDs here at BYU, but they are probably few and far between.

On the plus side, I should have them in time for the BJD meet this weekend! <3

More about my Tablet

I got my amazing tablet at the BYU bookstore, but surprisingly enough it wasn't really that expensive.  I mean, relative to the same product on google.  :P

I used it last night to draw a little bit, and I just got Paint Tool Sai, so I'm going to start looking at trying to improve my drawing in my spare time.  I am glad though that I can finally have something to use for this.  It's part of the reason that I stopped drawing, and now with the Tablet sitting there expensively and accusingly, I'll probably use her!  I've decided to name my Tablet to Sally, because she is as finicky as a girl.

If I try and move the pen too fast, she'll pretend I only drew a dot.  If I draw slowly, she lets me do whatever I want. >.<

I also have a three day weekend this weekend.  I'm looking forward to being able to do nothing for three days with almost no guilt.  <3

Got a Tablet

Today I got a tablet.  :D  Right now I'm typing on the blasted thing and thinking about whether or not to just switch to a regular keyboard because this method takes forever...

Yeah, switched to a normal keyboard.

I went against my better judgement when I bought it, but on the plus side it will be a billion times easier to look up kanji and chinese characters on my computer.

I discovered yesterday that mostly my classes don't have homework yet.  Lol.  I know they will, but for now I can just relax a little bit.  Japanese is all review right now, and Chinese is just getting started, so it will take a bit for people to actually have any sort of conversation... Lol.

Writing class is also going kind of slow, but I like the set-up that the teacher has, because it is very straightforward.

Getting to an Early Start

I keep on getting up later than I should be. >.<

Yesterday was kind of interesting.  I had fun in Japanese, as usual.  Really, the class is only review right now and not anything to worry about.  My Russian class has massive amounts of homework though, and my Chinese class is... Well, it's going.  I'm getting better at the tones, and I'm having fun trying to make everything sound like it should.  My chinese name is something like "Aidan" because it's super easy to write.  It's the character for love, and the character for dawn, and I'm lazy.  XD

I had my first Book of Mormon class yesterday as well.  It seems like it will be fun, and the teacher is nice enough.

Not much to say about yesterday.  It was a very long day, but other than that I mostly stayed up late and tried to avoid homework.  I've also been eating potatoes and onions for about a week. <3  Very cheap, very easy.  >.> Plus, I don't have any other money.

Mini-rant (Ignore if you want)

DX  Okay!  So, I watch anime.  A lot.  And mostly what I watch isn't licensed, so it's legal, but the stuff I want to watch that IS licensed is mostly available on Hulu.

Now, I love Hulu.  The only thing that drives me Bat-S*** insane is the fact that I can't get rid of the ads.  Heck, I would pay 20 buck or maybe a bit more a month if I could access Hulu's content ad-free.  Does hulu have that option?  NO!  Instead, their paid accounts only have a small difference to non-paid accounts in the amount of content that they can access.    AND paid accounts still have to view the ads.

It's like watching a stupid TV, except I can't fast-forward through the commercials.  I hate commercials.  I hate them with a fiery passion, and I have to wonder, what's the huge difference between watching them on Hulu vs. other sites?  Hulu has permission?  It's still available on the internet either way.  In fact, content posted on Hulu is often pirated and posted elsewhere.

The thing about these pirated and posted videos though, is that they are ad-free.  For free.

I would love more than anything to go to Hulu and pay a bit of money so I could watch my anime happily and in peace.  Instead, they shove prepackaged commercialism down my throat and tell me to sit and take it like a good little consumerist drone.  Screw that.  That's bullcrap.

So yeah.  I avoid Hulu whenever I can.  And whenever I do use Hulu it's because Hulu has the episode of the anime that I want before anyone else has it, and I make a point to mute and ignore all ads throughout.  Plus, every single ad put my way gets the rating of "not relevant" just because I hate them.

Wednesday is dragging. D;

Wednesday is my most loaded day of the week.  I have class at 8:00, 10:00. 1:00, 4:00, and 5:00 and I don't get home until 6:30 so I brought lunch for once.  My super lame lunch of bananas and bread.  And it's my dinner too.  o3o

So, I decided that after my initial post in the morning, I'm probably going to be too busy or tired to post on my LJ, so I'll just review what happened the day before in the post the morning after.  If that made any sense.

Yesterday, I was expecting to see my Russian teacher again and I was planning on asking her about getting photocopies of the workbook because I can't buy my books until Saturday, but the TA was teaching instead, so I emailed her after school.

I went home right after Russian because then I didn't have class again until 4:00 and there was no way I was going to stay on campus that long.  I moved all my stuff and one of my posters from the other room, so now all I have to do is take down and re-put-up my posters in my current room.  That shouldn't be too bad.

Once I got back to school I went through an interesting day of Chinese where I started to pick up on the tones.  I'm for sure going to go study for that class after I get out of Russian today and after I get out of Writing.  This semester is promising to be an interesting and crazy one, and I'm realy, really looking forward to it.

After I got back from school, me and my friend Kara went to the Mall on the bus.  The first time we took the bus we were happily surprised that it went straight to the mall (And the costco next door) and now we can just take it almost whenever.  The bus runs until like 10:00 PM on weekdays and 9:30 on Saturdays.  Since it's Provo, the bus doesn't run on Sundays pretty much at all.  We just window shopped since neither of us had any money really, but it was fun because it is a good skill to have, being able to window shop and not buy anything.  I'll think of it as training for Anime Banzai... XD

Woke up late this morning, but I managed to throw myself together and eat breakfast in 18 minutes before a liesurely walk to class.  I'm glad I actually know where my Japanese class is now.  And my Russian and Mandarin classes are in the same hall.  I have Book of Mormon until 6:30, but I hope I'll manage until then.  Plus, the class is only once a week, which is good and bad. I like just having long classes to get them out of the way though.  Wish me luck.

Second Day

Not really anything exciting to say as of right now.  I'm honestly lucky that I remembered to do this, because normally I would just forget and I'd end up behind already.

Second day of class, and not that amazingly exciting except that I got lost looking for my Japanese class because I was too stubborn to look up the classroom before I left home this morning.  On the plus side, I have about 4 hours between my Japanese class and my Russian class, so I can go home to get lunch after Russian class.

Japanese 201 honestly isn't that exciting yet.  All that we went over were adjectivals like 楽しい, 良い, 可愛い, and the like as well as counters like 一つ、一番, 一本 and stuff like that.  It's going to be super simple review for the first two weeks apparently and I have to review my Katakana for a little test that I have tomorrow.  Oh, and Purdon先生 is the TA for my section this term! <3  Only the first half, but she is still my fave TA from Japanese 101 and 102. I also found out that one of the girls in my apartment complex is in my Japanese class, and I vaguely recognize a few people in my Russian class, although I don't recognize anyone in my Chinese class and I haven't been to my Book of Mormon class yet.

More later, after I finish going to Chinese and stuff, I guess.
