Adapting to non-WMF wikis
editAny good fellow willing to document how to adapt the CSS (and the module too, I suspect) for third party wikis? I can't for the life of me get the backgrounds working, and alignment is ignored too. I suppose this all depends on some of those mysterious overrides used on WMF wikis or some CSS I can't find. Request: enhance to support image cropping
editCan someone enhance Template:Multiple image to support image cropping? This request was made by another editor in May 2023 (now in the Talk archives), but got no reply. So I'm repeating the request (because I need it). The template Template:Easy CSS image crop only supports a single image. I can look into doing the enhancement if no one else wants to. - Its generally not a good idea to cram too much functionality in one and the same template. Its a maintenance nightmare. I would suggest simple uploading a separate cropped image. —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 07:42, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
caption and footer text size
editHow do I change the text size for captions and footers? ~2025-35738-78 (talk) 08:48, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
image_gap
editThe documentation states that the default image gap is 5, but reading through the code it seems to be 1.
Line 108:local imagegap = tonumber(pargs['image_gap'] or '1') or 1 Eman7blue42 (talk page | recent edits) 20:23, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
- Fixed: Special:Diff/1328091658. For context, documentation comes from Special:Diff/915562825 on 14 September 2019. At the time, the default value in code was already
1: Special:Diff/923043136. The current default value comes from Special:Diff/798742238 on 3 September 2017. —andrybak (talk) 20:35, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
Dark mode skin invert image problem
editWhen using "classX=skin-invert-image" on chemical structure images within multiple image templates to invert them for dark mode, a bug occurs such that the image becomes pure white or near-pure white rather than inverted. Here is an example:
{{Multiple image | align = none | header = Chemical structures of psychedelics | image1 = Psilocybin, Kekulé, skeletal formula of canonical psilocybin.svg | width1 = 225px | class1 = skin-invert-image | caption1 = [[Psilocybin]] | image2 = LSD skeletal formula.svg | width2 = 150px | class2 = skin-invert-image | caption2 = [[LSD]] }}
Which displays as follows:
It's preventing full dark mode implementation on many pages and should be fixed. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 22:48, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
