The intro states that this article is about the MPCV version of Orion, but some of the references are about the older versions. We need to put the older stuff in some sort of "history" section and make sure the main stuff is current. I think the most egregious problem is the crew size. MPCV has a crew size of four. I will start making changes. I'm fairly sure that the
Orion Reference Guide should be the main reference. Comments? -Arch dude (talk) 21:24, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
Given that the crew's flywheel training has gained pretty broad coverage, I suggest we make an addition to the Crew module chapter, e.g. at the end of the second paragraph, such as:
The Orion's flywheel exercise device The crew module includes a compact flywheel-based exercise device used by astronauts during flight to perform both aerobic and resistance exercises. The system uses a cable-driven mechanism to generate adjustable resistance while meeting the spacecraft's strict mass and volume constraints.[1][2]

@Jadebenn, you say: Going by Apollo CSM, the SM should be shown. Also, the tight crop is ugly. That's an imperfect comparison. The Apollo Service Module does not have a standalone page. The European Service Module does. That means this page is (and must be) largely about the the Orion crew module alone. It makes since to keep the focus on the CM and not the ESM. As for the tight crop being ugly: that's your personal opinion and one I don't share. RickyCourtney (talk) 23:51, 10 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I don't understand why you want to exclude the ESM anyway. I know the terminology is inconsistent, but I hear Orion used to not only refer to the capsule itself but the complete spacecraft assembly (a use analogous to "Apollo CSM"). – Jadebenn (talk·contribs·subpages) 01:16, 11 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
But that’s not how we’re currently handling it. If we are going to have a separate page for the ESM we shouldn’t repeat it all here. If you disagree, propose a page merge. RickyCourtney (talk) 01:20, 11 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Again, this is largely a personal opinion. My thinking was that a tighter crop keeps the focus on the crew module. I also feel that the current image has too much black “headroom” at the top of the image. RickyCourtney (talk) 14:41, 11 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
