Dealignment/realignment

edit

I feel uncomfortable with the way this article operates with the terms "dealignment" and "realignment" as if they were working in the same direction. For instance, saying something like "workers dealigned from Labour and realigned with the Tories" sound odd to me. An example of what I would deem correct usage would be "workers dealigned from Labour and realigned only after there was a major change of the party's political agenda". In other words: Realignment would be reverse dealignment. Opinions anybody? 2003:C2:F4A:7E00:3CD2:9D04:28D5:C00A (talk) 13:59, 22 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
