Steven Douglas Agee (/ˈeɪˌdʒiː/; born February 26, 1969) is an American comedian, actor, writer and musician, known for roles including Steve Myron on the Comedy Central series The Sarah Silverman Program and as John Economos in the DCEU superhero films The Suicide Squad (2021) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023), as well the HBO Max DCEU/DCU series Peacemaker (2022–2025) and Creature Commandos (2024-present). His portrayal of John Economos was described by critics as a standout supporting role.[1]

As a television writer, Agee contributed to more than 300 episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! between 2005 and 2008.[2]

Agee is also a musician. He played guitar and bass in various rock bands in the 1990s,[3] such as Three Different Sizes and Glad you Hurt your Hand, and has collaborated with Brendon Small in the past.[4] He played bass guitar in a commercial for Rocksmith 2014 and released a comedy-punk album, Scab, on September 4, 2021.[5]
Agee has also been active in the comedy podcast scene, appearing regularly on shows such as Comedy Bang! Bang! and Doug Loves Movies, where he performed both as himself and in character.[6]
