Conectys is a privately held business process outsourcing (BPO) company headquartered in Bucharest, Romania. The company provides multilingual customer experience and content moderation services and operates internationally. Conectys has client partnerships in Romania and the wider Central and Eastern European region.[1][2]
History
editConectys was founded in 2004 by Arnold Cobbaert.[3] In 2012, Business Review reported that Conectys was providing call-center services for Wizz Air.[1]
The company expanded its European footprint in 2018 by opening an operations site in Poznań, Poland; local press reported initial hiring plans exceeding 100 roles, with current employee numbers exceeding 400.[2][4]
In 2022, software firm BlueTweak was spun out from Conectys.[5][6]
Operations
editConectys operates internationally with delivery sites in Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. It has partnerships with travel and public-sector programmes. In Poland, the Poznań site was launched in 2018 as part of a wider expansion.[2]
NelsonHall reported in 2025 that Conectys announced the start of CX operations in Cairo, Egypt, at the Global Offshoring Summit in Egypt.[7]
Conectys has also worked within a consortium led by European Service Network on the European Commission’s Europe Direct Contact Centre (EDCC). An evaluation study by the European Commission describes the EDCC’s outsourced operating model; a public contract award notice lists the winning consortium including ESN with Conectys Serv Telecom SRL among partners.[8][9]

editConectys’ publicly described services include customer experience / contact centre outsourcing (voice, chat and email support), content moderation and trust & safety operations, technical support, back-office processes, and data annotation and labelling.[3][1][2]
The company has recently introduced Employer-of-Record and Facilities-as-a-Service operations in Europe.
