The Comprehensive Environmental Pollution Index (CEPI) is India's tool by Central Pollution Control Board to score pollution in industrial areas, assessing air, water, and land quality using 0-100 scale;[1] scores ≥70 mean Critically Polluted Areas(CPAs), prompting action plans, serving as an early warning for environmental management.[2]
