No, really. I'm not sure which i want to do more, laugh at him or scold him XD Story's amusing as hell either way.

While Filming for Into Darkness Simon Pegg tricked multiple members of the cast, including one Bennedict Cumberbatch into thinking they had to wear dots of cream on their face when filming in certain locations, or they'd risk exposure to radiation poisoning.

Best part? Chris Pine was in on it. Gotta love the goofy camaraderie these actors all share. Let's hope it bodes for a movie with great chemistry on screen 8D

News sources were given an exclusive first-look at the nine minute Into Darkness trailer yeasterday, and while we've got a few more days before we can see it for ourselves, a nice little still has popped up.

The good news just keeps piling on and on! Its three am and instead of sleeping, many a fan is presently screaming over this BRAND NEW INTO DARKNESS TEASER TRAILER!!



I'd say this little snippet solves a few mysteries about the plot, but inspires even more questions. One this is for certain, the crew is looking fine as hell and Benny's voiceover is audiable sex! The next trailer release is within the previews of The Hobbit, so if you can make your way to an IMAX theater, then it might be worth the extra coin to see nine whole minutes of Trek action!

On the heels of the synopsis, a the first official teaser poster appears!

 

Ho-lee crap, I am freaking out! Its so gritty and exciting! And is that Cumberbatch? Its hard to tell, but we have seen him in a longcoat before. Oh man, its all coming together! Less than a month until the trailer drops! Cue the fandom collectively holding their breaths.

It seems we're getting more and more hints as to the plot of the movie. No surprise with the first trailers popping up in December.

"Galactic manhunt" seems to be the big word in the new official synopsis.

In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

Sounds exciting! Still no official word on who Ben is playing, but it sounds like the argument for Gary Mitchell is getting stronger and stronger. Nothing to do now but wait for the majesty of the first trailer.

Exciting news! We've been promised a trailer in December, but how about nine whole minutes of the movie in your nearest IMAX theater!


As if we need another reason to go see 'The Hobbit,' right? Man, I wish I lived near an IMAX theater! I'll just have to pray for some brave soul to leak it onto the web.
