zone_7 è una community crossover a tema video musicale, che prende come punto di partenza l'ambientazione dei video di "Na na na" e "Sing" da "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" dei My Chemical Romance, ed è aperta a crossover con sostanzialmente qualunque video musicale e "personaggio" di ogni artista o gruppo musicale esistente (con giusto un limite di ambito "geografico" che sarà illustrato più sotto).L'unico principio che guida il tutto è divertirsi a crossoverare cose fighe, riassunto in un semplice "KEEP LOLLIN'" :) Unica regola: se c'è dell'angst o del drama, deve comunque esserci un po' di lieto fine. La community segue una continuity (più o meno) precisa, che sarà sviluppata in post di background, fanfic e fanart (sono ammesse nel fanwork deviazioni dalla timeline, che in tal caso verranno etichettate come AU o What if? a seconda del caso specifico).
A causa di un evento cataclismatico ancora avvolto nel mistero, la linea temporale della Terra si è scissa, dando origine alla dimensione parallela conosciuta come Zona 7. La scissione ha provocato un'esautorazione delle riserve energetiche terrestri: petrolio e gas naturali sono divenuti materia quasi inerte, e i procedimenti per ottenere elettricità da qualunque fonte hanno una resa minima.
Gli Stati Uniti sono divisi tra due forze egualmente oppressive. A ovest, le Better Living Industries, unica organizzazione rimasta in grado di fornire energia di qualunque tipo attraverso le batterie che è ancora in grado di produrre nei suoi laboratori segreti, hanno preso il controllo delle poche grandi città rimaste e offrono ai cittadini una vita sicura e totalmente anestetizzata, priva di individualità e forza creativa. Fuori dalle città c'è solo il deserto, pochi insediamenti, e gruppi di ribelli che tentano di resistere al lavaggio del cervello collettivo marca BLI. A est, nubi oscurano la luce del sole e tutta l'area è invasa da vampiri, zombie e altre creature soprannaturali apparse dopo la scissione. Ad essi si oppone l'Inquisizione, alleata delle BLI, che fregiandosi del titolo di difensore degli umani e della fede porta in realtà avanti i suoi piani di dominio su corpo e anima della popolazione rimasta.
Gli Stati Uniti vedono inoltre la presenza di quattro forze, le quattro Streghe degli States. A Est, Lady Gaga. A Ovest, Katy Perry, che domina sulla sua Candyland. A Sud, J.Lo. Il nome e l'identità della Strega del Nord sono un segreto noto a pochi, ma si vocifera si tratti della strega più potente di tutte. Alleate, neutrali o attivamente opposte nei confronti delle BLI e dell'Inquisizione, queste potenti figure e i loro entourage giocheranno una parte fondamentale nel conflitto imminente.
Perchè qualcuno ha fatto fuggire dalle BLI qualcosa di estremamente prezioso, qualcosa in cui risiede un enorme potere e che ha in se' la chiave per comprendere cosa ha portato il mondo a questo punto.
Questo qualcosa è una bambina.
E al momento viaggia in auto con quattro tipi strambi e molto colorati decisi a fare più casino possibile.
(Zone 7 si svolge negli Stati Uniti, e per questo motivo i personaggi sono limitati a artisti e gruppi originari o attivi principalmente negli States. Restate in ascolto per lo spin-off Vecchia Europa! :D )
ENGLISH VERSION
zone_7 is a cross-over community with a music videos theme. The starting point is the setting of the "Na na na" and "Sing" music videos from My Chemical Romance's "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" and the community is open to basically each and every possible crossover with music videos and "characters" from any kind of musical artists or groups (with only a "geographical" kind of limitation that will be addressed below).The only guiding principle is having all the fun you can have while cross-overing cool stuff, which can be condensed in a simple motto: KEEP LOLLIN' :) The one and only rule is: if there's drama and/or angst, there must be at least some kind of happy ending too. The community follows a (more or less) linear continuity that will be developped through background posts, fanfics and fanarts (deviations from the regular timeline are allowed and they will be labelled as AU or What if? according to the specific case).
Because of a cataclismatic event whose causes and details are still mysterious, the Earth's timeline was divided in two, creating an alternative parallel dimension known as Zone 7. As a consequence of this event, Earth's energy resources have been depowered: oil and other natural resources are inert matter, and any process to generate electricity gives only scarse results.
The United States are split between two equally oppressive forces. In the West, the Better Living Industries (the only organization left able to provide some kind of energy through the batteries it is able to fabricate in its secret laboratories) have seized control of the few big cities still existing and they offer the citizens a safe and totally desentived life, devoid of individuality and creative force. Out of the cities, there's only the desert, little settlements, and small groups of rebels trying to resist the global BLI trademarked brain-washing. In the East, the sunlight is screened by masses of clouds and the whole area is inhabited by vampires, zombies and other supernatural creatures that have appeared after the timeline scission. They are fought and hunted by the Inquisition, ally to the BLI, who while proclaiming itself defender of the humans and of the faith is busy bringing forward their own dominion plans over the body and soul of what little population is left.
There are four more strong powers in the United States, the four Witches of the States. The Witch of the East, Lady Gaga. The Witch of the West, Katy Perry, ruling over her Candyland. The Witch of the South, J.Lo. The name and identity of the fourth witch, the Witch of the North, are a secret known only to a few, but rumor has it is the most powerful of all. Allied, neutral, or enemies to the BLI, these powerful entities and their entourages will play a fundamental role in the incoming conflict.
Because somebody has let something extremely precious run out of the BLI's grasp. Something who beholds a great power and who has the key to understand what has brought the world to this point.
This something is a little girl. And right now she travelling by car with some weird and very colourful guys who have their mind set on killing the party.
