Just popping by to say hello..have not been back to finish my Selina and Bruce stories in a while...I will get to it..I promise...some day..
I found a new site to post...so may end up trying in a few days when I am off work again....I also found some great sites for other hobbies of mine.
Don't think that I do now love Catwoman..I love her now more than ever...every year more as if that makes sense... anyway... I just have have too many other writings that I am doing now of my own characters that I want to finish first and there are plenty of other writers to fill my black boots...
So this cat is on the prowl..another alley, another rooftop, another adventure...
Just finished part 2 of The May Queen Memoirs and now back to my Batman and Catwoman fics.. I did find an all fandom site and one other that is small and seems inviting. Cannot wait to get back to it! Last few days I have been busy with my own writing and my own stories and characters but miss my Bat and Cat...onto my 31 story today! Yippie!!!! Will post The Rotten Egg also the last one I did on new site..check it out if you can!
My last post is not directed at the few friends I have made here that talk to me....It is just so that the one or two that I have that I have no clue of as they have not said a word to me I wanted to announce why I would delete them today.....
I cannot go in here and not see pages and pages of their posts and not feel odd..It is like being a peeping tom. I will admit I read some posts and felt yucky afterward..not just because I have no clue who they are but more that I do not know how others can type so much and I underscore so much about themselves...It is confusing really...I mean I get a private blog and things but I could never write out my ENTIRE DAYS EVENTS WORD FOR WORD right down to the very meals I ate....nor could I think that even my dearest friends require that detail...It was exhausting../anyway and long and long on my page...so anyway that is why I will change that and also my fangroups
MODS to me should welcome you and not leave you hanging to fumble an bumble and their new see faq's page just shows that they are either too big, too busy, to show you themselves...kind of like in a store that points to self checkout...go get it, ring it and tote it yourself people...well I like a group that actually talks to me, helps me step by step and acts like I am alive and kicking and matter.....so I removed my stories as I do not want to join a club that interacts only with certain people and doesn't even welcome you or talk to you much less give you a shred of advice from a real person.
I also feel sorry for those who are like me new and not that great on a computer...If you create a group you should make sure that people understand and are acknowledged and helped....sure it is easy to you and in your mind you might feel like we should not be here if we do not understand already the forms to fill, click cut and paste but if it was your grandma who wanted deeply to write for the joy of it and was disregarded I bet you would see that that place helped her and was nice to your dear grams....so in theory if you have a group it should welcome all not matter their caliber and make them feel okay about what they enjoy as it does for you...It is sad really....
Looking around still found a few sites that seem small and inviting in which others not just certain people run the show but all participate. Groups I left I will say that if not for one person...he actually welcomed me and told me what a cut is as I had no idea and no where on the page did it say what it is just a FAQ page that I had not clicked yet. I would have continued to get nothing but "cut please" as comments..nothing else..sad...and then no one comments... well if you are like on their BFF list or a "fan" of theirs they will..I also think many of their members are the same individual so how are their contests real anyway.. Oh and I commented on many stories but only one eternal moonie read and commented so as a newbie you will get no where fast there...
Lesson learned!!!!! :)
If you have any suggestions let me know! Thanks! I want anything DC comic related or your own character groups. I usually write Batman and Catwoman but am branching off now to my own stories and to other types of writing. I want to find small groups and ones that lets the group decide things and/or put in their own ideas of things kind like a democracy idea ballot box for fun things to do and one that seems to talk to others who post stories not ignore...I mean even a MOD could take the time to comment on people's work.. Long Live D.C. Comics!!!
Just a note to let you know I am still trying to complete those stories....I got side-tracked with another posting for poetry and short stories and it took up most of my day today. I got incredible feed-back which always makes a writer happy to read and made some new friends along the way.
I have decided today to research for more groups that interact with new members and give advice, feedback just basically interact. I think today I will remove some groups and find little ones that are out there. :) Simple!!
Oh and I will also try to go through my friend list today..basic house cleaning day here...I have a small list but if you added me and NEVER spoke to me I will delete you...It is nothing personal but I really see no reason every day to see your posts and your stories and all your personal life when I will never know who the heck you are....sorry...but I want to open my page and see people that I can talk to and see posts that I can comment to.
I hope to write Thursday a few more chapters to MayQueen and to The Emerald Island but do not want to make a promise I cannot keep. I work usually forty if not more hours a week so I am tired when I get home and my first priority then are my babies-two dogs, two cats and turtle...If they allow it I will be back then....thank you for taking the time to read them!!!!
Got a chapter up and another is in my head today for The MayQueen...I am very excited to get the rough draft up. It has been a long time since I have thought of her and now ideas of her and Laz fill my dreamy mind today!!! :) I hope you can take the time to read it and comment.
