This game is not designed to run on your device. Add it to a collection to play later, or you can try to run it anyway.

The system is falling apart. You cannot save it. You can only keep it alive.

XENO-STABILISER is a high-speed ecological triage simulator. Forget about "winning"—your goal is to manage the decay of 8 dying planets for as long as humanly possible. As Temperature, Humidity, and Soil Moisture spiral out of control, you must use the Archive's 24 seeds to patch a sinking ship that will never reach the shore.

How to play:

1. IDENTIFY A CRISIS

The alerts along the top will warn you when a planet is about to change.

Check the Planet Reports on the left. Each world is suffering from a specific disaster: Heatwaves, Floods, or Crust Instability.

2. SELECT A SEED

Choose a seed from your Archive (bottom tray). Check its Journal Entry to see its natural “home” stats.

The stats represent Temperature, Humidity, and Soil Moisture.

For example, the Perfect Reflector Lily needs: Temperature ON, Humidity OFF, Soil Moisture OFF.

This is important to remember before taking it into the lab.

3. CALIBRATE THE LAB

Drag a seed into a Grow Tube and set the three toggle switches. Your settings determine the outcome.

Click Grow when everything is set.

Perfect
Grows a pure plant that fixes the crisis perfectly.

Alternate
Grows a distorted hybrid (e.g. Steam Lily). It fixes the crisis but creates a new environmental side effect.

Anything else
The seed shrivels and dies. Destroy the evidence of the error.

You can also harvest early, but your plant will be much weaker.

4. STABILISE

Once grown, drag your plant onto the planet you want to stabilise and click SEND to deploy it.

Then hurry. Fix the next problem, because the end is coming.

How long can you keep the gardens blooming and the planets alive?

Spoilers:

Some people have asked for the plant stats, as currently in-game, we haven't displayed them, but actually, there is a way that it is displayed, but we thought it would be too easy if we showed it. Also, I have put the plant stats in a tabel in screenshots if you are interested.

The top row gives Temp, the middle row gives Humidity, and the bottom row gives soil moisture. All Mutations will give a Negative.

We do have plans to improve this, but this was a game jam that we wanted to test the concept and see if it was an idea to pursue or to work on something else. Let us know if we should work on this more.
