Hey guys~ do people know about the Battle Frontier Ohana Islands tournament going on at DA right now? It's another one of those OC Pokemon Trainer tournaments where you do a lot of drawing instead of online pokemon battling. It's pretty cool, and for some reason I decided to join this one like, at the very last minute. Unfortunately, BECAUSE it was last minute I couldn't do as much with my app as I would have liked to otherwise, and so it looks a bit haphazard. :/ And I can't change it since the deadline is passed, argh. So uh, here, two trainers.

omg guys if you guys are on Dreamwidth, you should come follow me there instead. TTATT I like it so much better but there's a larger community here. I really like that I can still use my journal style for comment pages even if I don't have a paid account there, it just looks SO MUCH NICER.

Hey hey, how many of you guys who are reading this have a Dreamwidth account? I'm moving mainly to Dreamwidth, though I'll still be crossposting everything here. It's just that Livejournal has been messing with their terms of service YET AGAIN and I'm kind of tired of it and it's a lot of bullshittery and anyway some of my closest friends have moved to Dreamwidth. I'm not completely abandoning LJ, so I'm still posting stuff here, but I was just thinking that if you ARE on Dreamwidth, I hope you'll come find me there. I'm [tidus] there, and my art blog there is [kaiba].

Anyway, here's something I drew yesterday. Well, that's a lie. I drew it a few months ago, I CGed it yesterday.

I'm probably going to be reposting a bunch of the stuff from here onto [kaiba] (because I made that account like a year and a half ago and totally abandoned it) and then I might delete all the entries here and convert this into a journal. Except I'm not sure I want to do that. Oops, scratch that! That's not possible after all, I think I remembered it the opposite way. XD Arghhh decisions. Anyway, let me know what you think! Guess what? I'm finally done with this term! I'm heading home on Sunday and will be working hard on the commissions I didn't get a chance to do while school was going on. In the meantime, I have some Japanese manga and games that I'd like to sell - check it out if you're interested?
- - - manga: conan, slayers, death note, rayearth, spiral, reborn, tales, naruto, air gear, shaman king, etc.
- - - games: gamecube, nds, ps1, psp & ps3 games

TBH I cannot remember where I got half of these. Clearing out manga for series that I will never collect (in certain languages)/I have no interest in. Also games that I don't play anymore, etcetera. IN SHORT, I AM OUT OF SHELF SPACE AND WOULD LIKE SOME POCKET CHANGE.

There's more, but they're still in LA and I need to go back down in a month or so before I'll know which ones I can sell.

Uh, I only just realized this because I was looking up images but I had no idea that Oh My Goddess was drawn by Kosuke Fujishima. ...Of the Tales of fame. What. ...And Sakura Taisen too? What. Whatttttt. my brain is trying to get over this how did I never realize what what what what what

More importantly though, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is coming out tomorrow, and Gran Turismo 5 has been stamped and is ready for release on November 24th. Guess which one I'm more excited about. I'm really putting my faith in you this time, Polyphony. If you delay it again you know you're going to have more than just "disappointed" fans. PLEASE come out next week. You even have a counter on your website.

I'll be disappearing from life after it releases. OH HOHO actually not really. I will be disappearing, but not because I'll be playing. LOL will be moving. Also, roommie and I got a cat the other day. I will post pictures later, probably. When I don't have to go to a tedious and idiotic group meeting in 5 minutes. I have better shit to do with my time, seriously. Like watching paint dry. Or, alternatively, finishing Arthur.

That's the newly announced Professor Layton vs Gyakuten Saiban game and it looks so good. I've only played the first GS game, and I haven't gotten around to playing the Professor Layton games (I WILL, I WILL. I'm just busy. And I haven't finished Dragon Question 9 either - and that's by the same company. EVENTUALLY I WILL GET AROUND TO IT.) but man is that trailer GORGEOUS.

It's actually really seriously made me consider forking over the cash for a 3DS. Except that I have a perfectly good DSlite that plays GBA games...and the 3DS's announced retail price is like ¥25,000. ...That's like $300USD for anyone who doesn't want to go check a converter. This is a handheld system going for a console system price. That's a LOT OF MONEY. The 3DS plays DS games, but won't go further back than that, and 3DS games are a whole new cartridge so that Layton Saiban game won't work on my DS, or your DSi or your DSiXL. Arghhhh but man does it look nice, and that game. SO COOL. *3* BTW whoever is voicing Naruhodo's voice is really hot. *3*

IDK I guess eventually I'll pick up a 3DS, but I think I'll wait a year or two after it comes out for the price to drop significantly. That is a lot of money for a handheld...

Life mostly consists of Too Much Work these days! But I did get my scanner working, which is pretty nice. :D So uh, yeah some stuff I've been doing for school.

IN ANY CASE yeah I ARE BUSYS ;; will try to finish other commissions soon or whatnot argh I feel so bad having all these commissions sitting around and not having time to work on them. ;_; I mean, at least I'm not neglecting them for other for-fun stuff, but still. :/

I've been getting my roommate Angela into Slayers. I really want to draw more Slayers fanart now. :D Except well... :( busy...and when not-busy, still busy... argh. OKAY signing out I think I will take a nap before class. This is probably not a good idea but I am too tired to try arguing with myself.

YEAH I'M UPDATING THE WAY I POST HERE. I'm always like "I should totally be super organized and shit cause then I'll look really professional" but hex-f man that's not me at all. I always decide I don't like the way I was previously organizing it and want to change it except then I get anal retentive cause the old entries were organized differently AND NO MORE. I DO NOT NEED THIS PERIPHERAL STRESS MAN YEAHHHHHHHH.

Anyway, I don't really have anything new so if you actually read my main blog, you can skip most of this. If you don't read my main blog, uh, well, you're still free to skip this if you want. I just kind of realized while sitting at work doing jackshit (what I'm doing now) that I'd forgotten to post another pair of shoes that I finished a couple weeks back. That uh, I still need to mail. YEAH MEMES. Also, I totally got my scanner working again! It's fab, I'm so happy. Gonna work this to a finish even if my teacher says to redo it cause I like how the sketch turned out. Might livestream it if I'm bored enough. :D

I feel like such an antisocial loser on the internet these days cause I feel ronery but don't really want to talk to anyone either. Wow CONFLICTING FEELINGS MUCH? OKAY OVER AND OUT.

Ohgod school and life has been a ridiculous mix of miserableness and....more miserableness. The only bright spots really have been the few friends I can depend on, this one class of mine, and my hamsters. Though actually for hamster news... my roommate's hamster died three days ago. We think he froze to death...it got really cold at night and he had one of those wired cages. ;_; I put a blanket around his cage, but I think it was too late and he died the next morning. We gave him a little burial and everything, but it was a very sad thing. The good thing about me and my roommates never being home that often is that we don't really stress out the hamsters. But the bad thing is that when something like this happens....well we find out too late. ;_; RIP, Voldemort.

In other news, I'm taking this character design class this term. I keep wishing I had rueme or f-wd's character design skills though. Or even any amount of interest in character design OLOLOL, might make it more fun.

Um um, some of you guys might have already seen this haha but yes, my roommates and I got hamsters recently. It's been an interesting experience. They are beyond adorable though, so I took some photos of...a few of them. They're kind of difficult to take pictures of though, since they run away when they see my camera's light (despite flash being off...). OTL maybe iPhone photos would be better...
