EtymologyEdit

In Japanese, all Transam cards have a name with the sound rai (ライ), which together with the series' name is intended to form the word "samurai". While monsters tend to be specifically named after marine invertebrates, the Spell/Trap Cards have more general puns.

MembersEdit

Main DeckEdit

Transam monsters appear as ethereal humanoids with varying skin colors, based on the eponymous marine invertebrates and clad in highly-stylized chanbara-inspired fashion.

Extra DeckEdit

All Fusion Monsters in the theme require "Linac" as Fusion Material. Even when the other material is generic, features of specific monsters are recognizable in the design (which are often used as the material used to Fusion Summon it in its debut appearance).

Playing styleEdit

The series revolves around "Transam Linac" and cards that serve to support it, either directly or indirectly. While most of the theme's cards can be played as generic Galaxy Type support, they tend to work best in tandem with "Linac".
