Hi everyone. I've recently been moving over all the pictures/downloads to new sims journals. From now on, everything will be posted at Lovelyxwow @ LJ and Lovelyxwow @ DW. :) I also have a new personal journal - Skeletonxsong @ LJ. That journal is still friends only.
I'll be adding back my f-list over the next couple weeks (hopefully it won't take that long!). Unless, of course, you don't want to be added. ;) I will no longer be posting here, so please remove YeahYeahJess, Jesslove, or EnchantedPandaah from your f-list if you don't want the clutter. I haven't removed the entries because I'm lazy, but still.
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions on my computer. :P I eventually just redid it and got the Vista Security 2012 virus like two hours after it was a fresh install. :P My luck, I have loads of it. But anyways, *hopefully* things are safer now. Hopefully.
I'm curious, for TS2, what EPs do you consider the *most* essential? I'm reinstalling Seasons and Uni for sure, but NL, AL, and FT are up for grabs. I think I'm holding off on Pets for the moment. And what SPs do you love the most? I'm considering resinstalling H&M and Teen Style, but that's it. If I do the TS3 install right away, it'll be just TS3 and Generations. I'm glad I saved all the mods and everything already.
If my computer freezes when I try to do a system restore (I can click the program to start it, but then nothing else is accessible and I have to shut it off) and when I try to do a scan with Avira and then nothing else is accessible, is my computer doomed?
Hi all! I'm biting the bullet and installing some EPS. Generations, Outdoor Living Stuff, and possibly LN. And since I'm torrenting them until I know that I like them enough to spend the money I don't have on them, I have a question.
Do I need to turn off automatic updating? I never paid attention to it before (shame) and so i'm not sure if I need to turn it off or not.
I think I'm going to break down and download some hair, patterns, freckles, piercings, and possibly tattoos. I'm going to avoid clothing though, the Generations seem really cute!

Hello lovelies! I have begun to write my petition letter for college and I'm terrified. A distraction is needed, so I was wondering...if you've made the (permanent) switch from TS2 to TS3, how did you do it? For me, it's taking more than playing the game to actually get into it. Ignoring the hours I spend creating a sim and their home, the gameplay just doesn't seem to grab at me. It seems so expansive and open and I'm not sure how to make it mine, if that makes sense. In TS2, it's so easy. I make a family, plop them down, and go to work. But in TS3, I can't even make my own bloody hood. Once I get in game, it seems that there is so much to do. I can't put my own unique touch in the game at all. Mayhap that's why I love TS2 so much...it seems that I can control almost literally every aspect, if I wish. I'm sure it's the same in TS3, but I can't figure it out.
So if you read that huge block of words, do you have any tips or suggestions for the game? I installed it yesterday (Sulli unknowingly convinced me), but I played the game for two minutes before shutting it off. I have no cc installed this time, to get more into the game. Everyone's pictures seem so fun and great! But then I have a go at it and meh.
I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions or whatever. Maybe I'm just one of those that doesn't like the game, but I hope not.
And also, if you wouldn't mind, please wish me luck on my petition! I need all I can possibly get. :3
I know, it seems like all I do is ask for help these days. :| And not even simming help! But a file won't get off my desktop and I'm desperate. It's a minor thing, but it's bugging the crap out of me. Edit: I found a way to fix it, using the unlocker. Many thanks to Nymphy and everyone else who helped me out!!!!
