Matt Hardy Reminds Me Of A Hall Of Famer
As I look at matches involving Matt Hardy, I’ve come to notice something. Matt Hardy reminds me of Bret “Hitman” Hart. Neither was really flashy. Both have/had brothers that more high risk than the other with Jeff/Owen respectively, but both were the technical of the two & can put on a great match against anyone they go against no matter the size. I think WWE blew a pretty good chance to have a solid brother vs. brother feud, but I do understand that they may have shunned the opportunity due to the uncertainty of Jeff Hardy’s contract. Hardy has evolved into a great heel lately, so much that he is making Jerry “The King” Lawler look like the old Jerry that always took up for the heel during matches. I thought that Matt would take a couple of months off due to his broken hand, but he has shown heart by not only continuing to show up to work week in & week out, but he has used a legitimate injury to further his character. I know that it’s a little early right now but I strongly believe that Matt Hardy is in line for a WWE Title shot. I say by next year’s Wrestlemania….. Maybe Summerslam (more likely) Hardy will, at the very least, have a WWE Title match & win. How do you feel?
