It’s halfway through sophomore year and Serena van der Woodsen is about to meet her new roommate.

Author's Note: This is the fic that wouldn’t end and would still be languishing on my hard drive half written without xoxobigbang. As always, thanks to my bb kaitoujeanne for the beta.

Posting Instructions are as followed:

AUTHORS
Post the fic to your own journal, then make a master post (a post that links to all the parts of your fic as well as the artist's art post). Then, come to the comm on your posting day and post to the community with the following header:



ARTISTS
Make a post to your journal with the art you have done for your author's story. Then email your author the link to the art post, also get a link to the master post from the author so you can link back in the fic.

If your author is NOT posting then you will need to post your art to this community (we still want you to get credit for your work). Use the following format to post to the community.




Then Authors will post their fics heading (above) to this community, after you have posted here feel free to crosspost at other communities.

Hey guys remember this post! Please follow the instructions there, you have until the 25th to either turn it in or drop out (oh god please don't!, I mean if you have to...)

I haven't gotten any fics or art yet so I am going to be over hear waiting.....

(also if you haven't heard from your author or artist yet let me know)

Okay, its almost time guys. Final fic drafts and art rough drafts (so you don't have to have the art complete but you do need to be able to show you have started and made progress on the art) are due September 25th, 2010 give or take a few hours (or even a day, just get it in so I don't panick and send you frantic PMs please :D)

Please follow these instructions to submit your final fic and art drafts. This way we can know where people are and where to put them in the posting schedule (so authors and artists that are done will go towards the beginning, while ones that need some more time will be scheduled towards the end).

IF YOU AREN'T FINISHED DON'T WORRY! That is why we asked for you to tell us if its complete or not, I will try to work those people that need more time later on in the schedule.

Also, after this there will be a post made asking when you absolutely CAN'T post, so make sure you comment there so we don't assign you a date that doesn't work for you.

As fics and art come in they will be put into a posting schedule, the posting schedule will be up by September 30th at the latest - sooner if everyone gets their stuff in (those who need more time either art of fic wise will be put towards the end of the schedule). This will give the authors and artists going first a week to get their posts together. Posting instructions will be posted after the posting schedule goes up.

If you can't turn anything in and want to drop out of the challenge email us or comment here to let us know ASAP.

Okay, all fics are claimed and emails have been sent out. Artists please contact your authors right away, authors if you want to contact your artists check out the claims post and send an email to them and share your fic with them.

Because the emails got out so late the schedule was been rearranged.

Final art and fics are now due September 25th
Posting starts October 1st and end October 7th.

If there is day you can't post above (author or artist) please comment with the following, comments are screened.

And here they are 3 hours late, sorry about that! There are 6 stories for Round 2 up for grabs. Once each one has been claimed they will reopen for second artist claims.


To claim a story please read through the fics and comment with the following:



- Claimed stories will be struck out as they come in but make sure to check that someone hasn’t gotten the one you want (this is why comments are unscreened).
