We have an internal mailing list for team members for our THEMIS Instrument. Its entirely a way to let the science team know of data updates and changes. Occasionally someone outside the team gets ahold of the address, and sends to it, but since I know what the hell I'm doing it doesn't get posted, but comes to me. I can decide if its legit (i.e. a real team member posting from another account) or, as in this case, something else...

It's all very noble of you but deep down you know that Mars is Hell. I
cannot tolerate all the "terra forming" discussions frequented by sane
men and women of your ilk. Mars is dead. Caput. At best it is a
reflection of where the earth is headed. If you want to look for a
"promised land" then follow the lead of Carl Sagan who never faltered
from his belief that Venus was our next outpost.

Of course, this implies that the Sun is cooling rather than heating and
that will surely make a few pocket protectors melt -- not to mention the
new solar paradigm it will enact.

Truth #1: Pluto/Charon is the remnant of a white dwarf and its
attendant. It is the oldest member of our solar system and was
responsible for the gathering (not accretion) of all matter that
comprises our "line of sight".

Binaries are all the buzz and you Nimrods have elected to "demote" the
best example of a binary in our quarters. What the hell is wrong with
you? Does something have to be defined by a gravitational tug to be
vital to your science? You know why you quickly created the New
Horizon's Project and then just as quickly emasculated the target. What
a bunch of pussies you are! You will never rendezvous with
Pluto/Charon. Not in a million years. You don't deserve to learn what
you you hide.
