Friends policy - umm, I have no policy! You're welcome to friend me if you want. I may or may not friend you in return. Nothing personal, but my friends list is about as long as I can comfortably keep up with. So I'm being restrictive since I know that if I let the list get longer, I'll find a way to read it, at the detriment of other things I should be doing.

Comments and responses policy: I love comments and I make sure that I read every single one. However, whether I reply to any given comment depends on many factors, most importantly, time available and whether the comment needs a response. To some extent that latter decision is made by my thought "would I expect a response to this comment".

Eg. If someone posts a picture of their finished needlework and I post a comment saying how pretty it is, I don't expect a "thank you". But if I make some more specific comment about the pattern, the fibres or fabric used, etc, then a response is appreciated, and I would make one in return.

So, if you really want a response to your comment, make sure that your comment asks a question, or in some other way indicates that you are expecting a response.

Some day I may fill this in further......

One quick note (Nov 17, 2007): my hair is getting quite long (with waves stretched out, the longest part is nearly to my waist. On Fia's Hair Typing System, it rates as 2(a-c)Fi or variably wavy, fine, thin.
