I did not stand to become an MP to push hundreds, if not thousands, of my disabled constituents into poverty. I will not be voting to cut benefits for the most vulnerable. The government should do the right thing and drop the policy.

We need a welfare system that supports, not punishes, people when they need it most. Disability benefit cuts will deepen hardship and inequality across Wales and the UK. I’m voting NO.

I joined the Labour Party to oppose austerity. I cannot support a bill that could still push 150,000 people into poverty. I will be voting against it tomorrow. @Dis_PPL_Protest

The government has engineered itself into a state of wilful ignorance. It risks dismantling international humanitarian law to maintain its support for Israel. We are at a hinge moment in history: we can suspend arms exports to Israel, or risk being complicit in genocide.

Reported cuts to benefits are extremely concerning. We absolutely should not be removing benefits that allow disabled people to be independent, get work, and stay in work. Let's try wealth taxes instead. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

I've signed an amendment to stop the disability benefit cuts, alongside over 120 fellow Labour MPs. Our government shouldn't be pushing people further into poverty. Time to scrap the cuts and drop this Bill.

My constituents voted for a fresh start, not a fresh round of austerity. I have co-signed this letter calling for the government to change direction and drop its plans to cut benefits. @TaxJusticeUK @PatMillsUK @DisabilityWales @BevanFoundation @jrf_uk bit.ly/4iY3e2C

Cutting benefits is a political choice that the government is making. There are alternatives to ever deeper austerity. Properly taxing the wealthiest after decades of widening inequality would be a start.

The Government published its UC & PIP Payment Bill today. Wales already has the highest poverty rates among disabled people in the UK - this will push them deeper into hardship. We wrote to the DWP urging the cuts be abandoned. I will be voting against this Bill.

Today’s results show that Labour needs to deliver the actual change people voted for - offering real hope by reversing ever-widening inequality. Dropping plans to cut disability benefits and properly taxing the very richest in society would be a good place to start.

Tightening PIP eligibility criteria will pull the rug out from under disabled people across the country. These cuts will hit Wales particularly hard, and they will hit my constituents particularly hard too.

Craig Williams will still be on the ballot on July 4. He could still be returned as our MP. Labour is the only progressive party that can replace the Tories in Montgomeryshire and Glyndŵr. Change will only happen if you vote for it.

Reported cuts to disability benefits risk driving hundreds of thousands of people into poverty. Personal Independence Payments help disabled people to get work or stay in work - more austerity is not the solution. @scope @CampaignFDJ @jrf_uk

I voted against the UC and PIP Bill this evening. I welcome tonight's concessions and want to see the positive elements of the Bill implemented but there was simply too much uncertainty and too little notice. This is not how decisions impacting vulnerable people should be made.
