.@RobinhoodApp is going all in on crypto, and it's powered by Arbitrum.
Today's news is a massive moment for Arbitrum, a massive moment for Ethereum, and a massive moment for crypto.
Here's why it matters🧵
The Arbitrum DAO has collected nearly 20,000 ETH in profit.
The Arbitrum DAO has never sold, kept it all on balance sheet, has started utilizing it to secure the network (e.g. BoLD) and is now looking to deploy it on the network into ETH-aligned strategies.
We are not the same.
For the first time ever, Arbitrum One processed more transactions than Ethereum today.
We’re witnessing history as Ethereum’s rollup-centric roadmap becomes a reality.
Congrats, Arbinauts. You did this 💙🧡
When comparing L1s don’t forget:
Arbitrum is Ethereum
Aztec is Ethereum
Base is Ethereum
Fuel is Ethereum
Linea is Ethereum
Optimism is Ethereum
Polygon is Ethereum
Scroll is Ethereum
Starkware is Ethereum
ZKSync is Ethereum
AnimeChain by @animecoin, @Azuki, @arbitrum.
An Arbitrum Orbit chain focused on anime and culture.
Featuring Stylus, ~250ms block times, and a custom gas fee token.
But here's why I'm excited 👇

Fantastic post which completely changed my thinking on native rollups.
There's an inherent tension in Ethereum between the following goals:
(1) Embrace diversity of people and opinions and enjoy the innovation that comes with it.
(2) Make Ethereum (and all of its L2s) feel
Kyle, the last time we interacted, I exposed you a a fraud.
Today, I’ll expose you as a fool.
A single sequencer chain can’t debank you.
Get your head out of your bags and learn a little bit about the industry you clearly know nothing about.
I haven’t shared this publicly before, but in the early days of building Arbitrum, we were dangerously close to accepting a grant from another ecosystem to build Arbitrum there (in addition to Ethereum).
We would have gotten early $$ that was very meaningful at the time but
Periodically we have an event that reminds us why decentralization matters.
When we get our next reminder, I’m confident of two things:
1. Ethereum will stand apart among L1s
2. Arbitrum will stand apart among L2s
There's a narrative out there that ZK Rollups will be able to do everything that Optimistic Rollups do but better.
The way this story goes is that we're just waiting for ZK rollups to be ready, but as soon as they are, they win hands down.
Let me tell you why I disagree 🍿🧵
