When I discovered Solana, I was coming off ETH DeFi summer, setting my alarm for 3 AM to get a transaction through without getting wrecked on gas. That’s when I knew: Ethereum wasn’t it. A friend pointed me to Solana, and I jumped into a hackathon where @MarinadeFinance was born.

wrong, let's count together: 7.52% (inflation) + 3.25% (jito tips) + 1.58% (block rewards) = 12.35% APY total staking yield block rewards (1.58% APY) go 100% to validators, while Marinade's auction lets validators share these back to stakers that's where the yield comes from
