I wish one thing prospects understood is that coaches often info share! Just because we may not need your position, or you may not be the right fit for us, doesn’t mean I’m not texting a friend of mine who may LOVE your game and NEED your game for his or her program!

I was once told by my coach “my best players are my most consistent players.” I didn’t understand that until I got into coaching, but the best players are the ones who show up every day and are consistent in what they do—their strengths and weaknesses!

Just some thoughts after a weekend of evals: 1. SHOT SELECTION. Pull up threes in transition are selfish shots about 90%. If you're taking it, you better be making it--consistently. 2. This is not the same as a transition three off of an advance pass—those can be quality shots!

And Lisa Bluder doesn’t really get enough credit. I played against and coached against her teams at Iowa since I was 20 years old—they have consistently been ELITE on offense, in player development, and in recruiting to culture and style of play.
