Hello Twitter fam. I'm currently facing one of the toughest challenges in my life. Dealing with retinal detachment in both eyes and needing multiple emergency surgeries. So, if I'm a bit slow in replying, that's why. Remember, your health is paramount! 🍀
I don't feel offended by one developer who finds it literally more "joyful" to write plain JS. Isn't the idea behind creating an inclusive tech community about listening to each other and creating a safe place where opinions are respected? People bashing and ignoring seems harsh.
If a team cannot directly switch to "strict" mode, I suggest gradually enabling individual type checking features like "noImplicitAny" or "strictNullChecks." This allows for incremental adoption of a safer codebase when transitioning from legacy JavaScript to TypeScript. 📈
It's my birthday today! 🥳🎈 Since I can't share my cake with all of you, I decided to share a new tutorial on the exciting things you can do with @typescript and TypeChat: youtube.com/watch?v=XMoAQS… 🎉 Let me know what you would build with it!
