Jeju Air 737-800 has crashed after overrunning the runway at Muan International Airport, South Korea.

The crew of Air India flight AI171 gave a MAYDAY call to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) immediately after take-off, but gave no response after that to calls made by the ATC to the aircraft, according to a statement from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Air India Flight AI171 reportedly crashed into the hostel part of the B.J. Medical College (BJMC), a well-known medical college in Ahmedabad.
Reports claim that Medical students residing in the hostel have also died in the crash.
