What a time to be alive. I wrote the chorus of this song in the back of a van on the Robin Hood set. As shanties should, all hands are sharing it and adding to it all over place. Loves it. Row Me Bully Boys Row.
This Lady went to space. The man over my right shoulder won the Stanley Cup six times. I’m in a room filled with passionate and compassionate and energetic people. I am humbled and grateful today to receive The Order of Canada amongst them all. Thank You.
March 11. The day I took the biggest step of my life back in 1993. Left a good job to sing songs for a living. It was scary, like all big steps are. But I’m so so so glad I took it. 28 years in the biz. Thanks to all of you. Cheers from the luckiest fella I know.
I know it is supposed to be unconditional and stuff, but I just, without being asked, vacuumed the stairs and I’m pretty sure my wife loves me way more, now.
I will not eat chocolate bunny for breakfast...I will not eat a whole chocolate bunny for breakfast...I will only eat one chocolate bunny for breakfast.
March 11 marks 29 years in the biz. Thanks to all the band mates and cast mates and managers and agents and editors and producers…but mostly thanks to the kind folks who came and still come, who sang and still sing at shows and all the rest of it. Keep ‘er going.
Just got up and watched hockey highlights in my pjs and glasses while taking first sips of coffee. It's not all bad. Find a warm spot and hang in there. Theres's a light in the distance. I knows it. Happy Holidays to All.
