We could do a lot with £2 billion in North Lincolnshire to better people’s lives. Come to think of it £2 billion would buy a lot of nurses, doctors and equipment for the NHS. Politics is always about choices and just now the Govt is making the wrong choices.

£2.1 billion, much of which is not new, to minimise utterly unnecessary disruption & decline caused by an unmandated government policy. With most public services already horribly strained. You have to write it down sometimes to properly appreciate the depth of the madness.

Tory Government cut funding to home insulation and that meant a programme inherited from @UKLabour came to an end in 2012. It’s Conservative Governments that have caused this cost of living crisis to be as bad as it is.

Today was due to be #TreasuryQuestions but this won’t happen due to prorogation. 5 MPs had #LoanCharge questions on the order paper, thanks @NicDakinMP @neill_bob @SeemaMalhotra1 @HughGaffneyMP @andreajenkyns. We need an immediate suspension & review independent of Govt & #HMRC.

In the end @UKLabour governments have a track record of making things better 4 people. But can only do that from a position of economic strength. And of course they also need to win an election The alternative, lest we forget, is more Tory Government favouring the rich @ powerful
