True story: On a morning walk in the Texas hill country and spot @jvn sitting under a cedar tree. We both just said, “OMG. Is that you?” Then virtually hugged from six feet away. We were supposed to do an event together at in March but never got to meet. Best. Hike. Ever.

This is what domestic terrorism looks like. This is Donald Trump’s America. Imagine the police response if these were Black people BREAKING INTO the Capitol. If you don’t see white supremacy and a total threat to democracy when you see this, it’s because you don’t want to.

36 hours with no heat or electricity and we’re back. For now. Boiling water, evacuating care homes, mile-long lines at grocery stores, no gas. Frozen windmills is a simple visual + explanation, but it’s BS. Follow the money. All the way to privatization + deregulation.
