My time with Francine and Geoffrey was incredible. I really enjoyed staying out the project Australian bush-the views around the property are incredible and plenty of cute animals to take care of. Swimming the project watering dam on top of the hills was a nice treat after the days work. The day-to-day work can change depending on the needs, and you get a good idea of off-grid living like conserving energy and water. I felt very welcomed and well-taken care of, making the work feel easy and fun. All the best to you both :)

The other reviews da decent job of outlining what should be expected from the experience. Perspectives and interactions may vary. While at both Ingoldsby and Bakers Creek, I helped move cattle, fixed chicken coops, added doors, laid sidewalks, and did other construction related tasks. Know that this experience may not be a priority for the host and adjust accordingly. You may not see the host for days at a time. Beautiful landscape and nice accommodation in Bakers Creek.

The host was welcoming me, and he was trying to care me as well during staying there. and Working was not too hard. however, the foods that they had the project fridge were usually expired and not clean(e.g. he gave me a salmon which was expired over 4 years). so if you are sensitive about sanitation, it would be hard to stay here.

I spent three weeks working on the farm and it was a truly great experience. As someone who has spent a lot of time on farms before, I found the work very fair and the accommodation simple but completely sufficient. If you're not used to dirt or the presence of animals such as bats, mice, or cockroaches, you might need a little time to adjust. Francine and Geoffrey are generous, open-minded people, and I enjoyed our many conversations. Helping with the move showed me that the new farm will become a great place. It's great to be reminded of how valuable resources like water and nature are!

The experience was incredible. Incredible people showed us new ways of living and interacting with nature, ways of working. They shared everything they had. Highly recommended. The work, although hard at times, was super bearable, and the food was delicious. Thank you 🫶
