Volunteering with David was a unique and amazing experience. Waking up in the beautiful environment and drinking a coffee while staring into the quiet mountains was one highlight of my stay. Being around horses, sheep, goats, dogs, and cats is also a plus. The work wasn't difficult and David is great at communicating. The way he talks and expressed his vision makes you believe in it and in him. He is a great person and you will learn a lot from him. I highly recommend this volunteer experience. You'll come in as a volunteer, and leave as a friend and family. Farewell

My stay at the project was truly life changing. The work in the gardens, ceremonies, animals, and beautiful people made my stay so lovely. My time with David was short but the time I did spend with him was nothing but welcoming and positive. His son is adorable and his friends treat you like family. The meals were always very good and vegetarian friendly:) Work hours were respected and there are many fun/chill things to do around Cuenca and at the house during your time off. If you want to work closely with nature and experience ancestral ceremonies than the project is the place for you!

The project was my first Worldpackers experience, and I couldn't have chosen a better place to start. It was extremely inspiring to see how David, with his warm, welcoming and loving energy, teaches and promotes sustainability practices, community building, ancestral knowledge and healing in this space. I got the chance to learn about all this topics and felt always accepted and supported during this process. So I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to get closer to the world of sustainability and ancestral knowledge, you will be welcomed with open arms 🌱
