Biography
Samuel Sumner, son of George and Ann (Tucker) Sumner, was born on 13 Nov. 1695 at Milton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.[1]
He married Elizabeth Griffin, daughter of Edward Griffin of Roxbury, on 20 Nov. 1723 at Roxbury, Massachusetts.[1]
Samuel died on 8 Feb. 1782 at Pomfret, Windham County, Connecticut.[1]

- Samuel b. 22 Aug. 1726.
- Elizabeth Sumner b. 24 Oct. 1728 married Daniel Williams.
- George b. 22 Nov. 1730.
- Joseph b. 31 March 1735 died 3 April 1735.
- joseph b. 19 Jan. 1740.
- Sarah b. 26 April 1743 died 5 Jan. 1777.[2]
